ABOUT THE COLLEGE
Podhigai College of Engineering & Technology,
Tirupattur (PCET) is the outcome of the vision and
mission of Kamaraj Educational Trust. This
institution reflects the ideals of Kamaraj and seeks
to achieve excellence as an academic institution.
The main pillars of Podhigai are Rtn.B.Ganeshmul,
Chairman,
Rtn.V.Selvam,
Secretary
and
Rtn.K.C.Ezhilarasan, Treasurer. They are the
backbone of the college. The Principal,
Dr.P.Lawrence felicitates the good governance of
the college.
PCET was established in 2009 and this is the sixth
year of success in elevating the rural background
students. The main motto of PCET is Progress,
Compete, Excel and Triumph. Our main aim is to
give quality education for the rural background
students. We are very proud to say that our
Podhigai stands first in Anna University Rank List in
Tirupattur. The campus comprises aesthetically
designed buildings with an evergreen and airy
atmosphere. The institution offers four B.E degree
programmes in ECE, EEE, CSE and Mechanical
Engineering. It also offers one M.E degree
programme in CAD. The college has a strong
bench of well-placed student alumni. The students
of this institute are actively participating in various
activities and competitions happening across the
country.
AIM
On behalf of the organizing committee, it gives us
great pleasure to invite you to the National
Conference on Innovations in Science, Engineering
& Technology on 27th & 28th March, 2015.
The ISET 2015 conference aims to bring together
researchers, academicians, scholars and experts
from various background and application areas in
Science, Engineering & Technology. This conference
will emphasis on promoting a high level of interaction
between the theoretical, experimental and applied
communities, so as to achieve exchange of ideas in new
emerging areas of Science, Engineering & Technology.
The conference will serve as a platform to cover the
advanced aspects and approaches of Engineering and
Basic Science in real world.
ABOUT TIRUPATTUR
The name Tirupattur means a group of ten villages/small
towns. There exists a village called Aathiyur (Aathi means
begin) in the southern fringes of town. We are very
proud to say that our Podhigai is situated in Aathiyur &
Kodiyur (Kodi means End) in the northern fringes of the
town. It is surrounded by several of these villages making
Tirupattur a Taluk.
Tirupatttur is called as the “Sandal City”. Yellagiri is a
hill-station on the Vaniyambadi-Tirupattur Road, it is
surrounded by orchards, rose gardens and green valleys.
It is also called “Poor Men’s Ooty”. Bheeman falls,
Jalagamparai falls are the other prominent tourist
destinations around the town. The Javad hills are located
about 35 kilometers from Tirupattur. In the middle of the
hill, lies the Kavalur observatory, which has several
optical and reflective telescopes run and governed by
Indian Institute of Astrophysics.
CONFERENCE TOPICS
Authors are invited to submit original and unpublished
research articles for presentation in related to innovations
in Science, Engineering & Technology.
Selected Papers will be published in Journal of
Advanced Engineering Research, ISSN: 2393-8447
(www.jaeronline.com).
ELIGIBILITY
Open for UG/PG students, Academicians and Research
scholars of Science, Engineering, Technology and all other
disciplines.
Information to Authors
The authors are invited to submit their abstracts in
MS-Word document with the following format:
Times New Roman, 12 point font size and
1.5 spacing.
Abstract should include Title of the paper,
Name(s) of author(s), affiliation and Email.
Abstract should not exceed 300 words.

ACCOMMODATION
Participants have to arrange their own
accommodation. However, on payment basis
limited number of accommodations may be
arranged by organizing committee, on request
on a first come first serve basis in nearest hotels
(within 3km).
