Wedding Information Thank you for your interest in Tra Vigne Restaurant for your wedding celebration. Congratulations to you and your fiancé! Planning a wedding is an exciting, memorable occasion. Following is information regarding weddings at our restaurant. VENUES The Tuscan Courtyard is a romantic setting for your ceremony. Under the mulberry trees, your guests will be transported to Tuscany. Site fee: $1,500 Includes: Wrought iron chairs, exclusive use of our courtyard for 1 hour and a beverage greet station. For dinner, the Tuscan Courtyard is transformed for a festive evening under the twinkle lights. Dancing will take place in our Cantinetta room, with wooden floors and beautiful copper bar. Site fee: $2,000 up to 200 guests Includes: Wrought iron chairs, tables and use of our Courtyard for four hours. For a true wine country experience, hold your ceremony in our Tuscan Courtyard, and take your guests next door to Merryvale Vineyards to their stunning barrel room for dinner catered by Tra Vigne followed by dancing. Site fee: $1,500 for the ceremony (see above), plus applicable fees at Merryvale. Includes: A five hour event for ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner service. Appropriate tables, chairs, white linen, white napkins, personalized printed menus, votive candles, table settings and glassware. Market umbrellas and limited space heaters are available on site, additional can be rented for an added fee. What time do events start? How late can we stay? Your ceremony must begin between 4 – 5 pm., and it must conclude by 5:30 pm. The event must end no later than midnight. After 5 hours, a $500 overtime fee applies per hour to cover the additional labor incurred. Do you have a food and beverage minimum? Yes. A minimum of $49.50 per person applies to food. Also, on Friday and Saturday evenings, we require a minimum of $12,500 in food and beverage sales for the full Tuscan Courtyard. Any other evening, we require a minimum of $8,500 in food and beverage sales. If your party size is 70 guests or less, we can customize your event and book half of the Courtyard. Restaurant diners or another party will be seated on the other half, separated by hedges. Please inquire about pricing with our Special Events Department as a reduced minimum will apply. Can we hold a daytime wedding at Tra Vigne? Absolutely! Daytime events start at 11 am. and end at 2 pm. Friday and Saturday, 3 pm. Sunday through Thursday. The facility fee for a lunchtime wedding is $1,500. Exclusive use of the entire Courtyard during this time requires a minimum of $5,000 in food and beverage sales. We want to have our ceremony in the Courtyard, but have dinner somewhere else. Is that OK? You must host your dinner event here, or use our catering services off site in order to hold your ceremony at Tra Vigne. In addition to Merryvale, we are available to cater at many wineries, estates or private homes. Can we play music in the Courtyard? Only acoustic music is permitted in the Courtyard. For the enjoyment of our restaurant guests, no amplification is allowed outdoors. Amplified sound is permitted in the Cantinetta room only. We recommend any speeches are given in the Cantinetta immediately following dinner. Minimal amplification is allowed for speeches and reception music with advanced approval from our Special Events Department. Can we bring in our own beer and liquor? No, but you may bring in your own wine. A $20 corkage fee per bottle applies. Frequently Asked Questions Is Tra Vigne able to provide wedding cakes? Yes, but we do not specialize in them. We can provide a two-tiered ceremonial cake that serves 22 guests for $200. A sheet cake will be prepared and sliced in the back to be served to your remaining guests, $9.50 per person including coffee and tea service. Are we required to use your preferred vendors? No, but we highly recommend that you do. Do we need to have a “day of” wedding coordinator? In order to ensure your event goes smoothly we provide a dedicated, experienced Day-of Wedding Coordinator to handle your ceremony and coordinate with our staff in regard to the major wedding events (first dance, cake cutting, etc.) You are certainly able to work with an outside Wedding Coordinator as well. When can we rehearse? We offer rehearsals at 10:30 am or 3:00 pm the day before your wedding. This of course is based on availability. If for some reason we are not available, we will coordinate another time with you. Do you provide a dressing room? You may use the Cantinetta room one hour prior to your event as a staging area or to slip into your dress. We recommend hair, makeup and other preparations are made at your hotel or residence. Can you assist with rentals should we wish to order upgraded linens, table settings, etc? Absolutely! In fact, it’s better if you include us in the process, since we know our menus and venue better than anyone. Do you have any recommendations for rehearsal dinner locations? Pizzeria Tra Vigne is a great venue for a rehearsal dinner. It’s right next door, and it has a casual, fun atmosphere. Menus start at just $22.00 per person. We also have a full service catering department. What do you do for children’s meals? We offer pizza or pasta onsite for $15.00 per child. Also, we have a limited number of booster or high chairs available, so please communicate any requirements you may have as soon as possible. How do you handle dietary restrictions? Our Chef is happy to accommodate dietary restrictions. We can easily handle allergies or issues with gluten or dairy, for example – but we are best able to do so with advanced notice. Frequently Asked Questions Do we also have the two Terrazzos that adjoin the main restaurant for our event? The Terrazzos are not included for your site and will be seated for lunch and dinner. We will not, however, seat the north Terrazzo during your ceremony in order to provide privacy for this very special time. Should you wish to book the entire outdoor venue including the Terrazzos, please inquire about pricing with our Special Events Department. What do we do if it rains? We do not provide back up space. Of course, we’ll use our resources to assist in finding another venue, and our catering services will provide the same dining experience for your guests off site.
