We will be distributing this Newsletter each month. In
each edition will be all the upcoming events for Flint
Baptist Church as well as birthdays and special
announcements. If you or your class would like to put
something in this newsletter you must have your
submission turned in to Linda Hayes in the Church
office by the last Tuesday of each month.

Ministry and Missions
Belize Mission Trip Information
Meeting will be held on January 18, 2015 after
both morning services in the left front corner of
the sanctuary (by the band). Trip is scheduled
in June. The exact week will be determined by
your skill set. See Jim Muckleroy for additional
information.
If remotely interested in missions, please go
ahead and apply for a passport at the post
office by the Zoo in Tyler. You will need a
certified birth certificate among several other
items to apply. Cost is around $150.00.
DAY OF PRAYER
Monday, January 12, 2015
The church will be opened from 7:00 am to 8:00
pm for you to come by and pray.
As the new year begins let us come and seek God's
face. Pray to be awed by Jesus and to know Him
better. Ask that we may see the Holy Spirit's
power and miraculous work in the coming year.

Military Ministry
Come make cards for the military and their families to give
to others. Saturday, January 17 10-3pm (or as long as you
can stay) at the home of Kathy Miller, 11515 Sandstone
Circle, Flint. Bring a sack lunch. All other supplies will be

Begins Tues, Jan 6 9:15,The Shepherd's Classroom (Rusty
Bauman's class) for six weeks. Cost of workbook is $12.00. We
have extra workbooks, so come if you are interested.
The next Precept class will begin on March 3 and will be a 6 week
study of **Thessalonians. Don't be confused about "the Day of
the Lord." The Thessalonians were interested in the end times,
just as we are today. But they were confused until they received
this letter from Paul. Include this book in your study of prophecy
to fully understand what God says about the last days. Cost of

Hear Ye, Hear Ye!
Mug Sisters will convene on Tuesday, February 10, when the clock strikes
10:00 am. We will gather at the CLC for a Royal Tea. We will be honored if you
would grace us with your presence. Lunch and entertainment will be provided as
well as a devotional and a wonderful testimony.
We invite you to join us as we celebrate the beginning of our 6th year with this women's ministry.
It is and has been a wonderful avenue to meet and have fellowship with other Christian woman
in our church as well as have a special bond with another that will be your prayer partner for
three months. If you have never been, this is the perfect time to start. If you have any questions
