 The softball meeting has been RESCHEDULED Today Jan. 22nd at 3:00pm in the gym balcony.
 Attention all incoming juniors and seniors: Like to design or write or take pictures?? Yearbook
applications & interview sign-up are outside the yearbook room (room 249). Stop by and pick one
up! Any questions? Please see Ms. Palmer in Room 241 or Room 249 during lunch periods or Mr. Bhatti
in Room 228.
 Are you interested in raising money for charity? Participating in all-night relay? Camping out on the
football field? Helping students at Hinsdale Central and South? If you answered yes to any of these
questions, then the 24 Hour Relay Challenge is for you! Please attend an interest meeting on Thursday,
January 29th at 7:30am in the cafeteria near the stairs to the library. Please contact Mrs. Klotz or Mrs.
Hoeksema with any questions.
 Do you have a personal story you're dying to share? Then submit it to the Tell Your Story writing
contest. All stories must draw inspiration from "waves." The deadline for submissions is January 29th.

 Looking for a creative and inexpensive gift? How about an original card designed by Hinsdale Central
Microfinance Club is having a badminton tournament this Sunday January 25th from noon to three
in the field house. It is five dollars per person; sign up during all lunches in teams of one or two.
Winners will receive gifts cards.
 All Sophomores: Registration for classes for next year starts Today, January 22. Find your counselor
appointment time posted on the Guidance windows. Please do not miss your appointment.
 The Bass Fishing Team will be holding its first meeting of the year after school on Today, January
22nd in Lab 234. Guys AND Girls of ALL skill levels and interest are encouraged to attend! Contact
Coach Strykowski if you have any questions.
 The NHS application deadline is quickly approaching! Complete your service hours and submit all
application materials to Ms. Mack in the Athletic Office by Friday, January 30th at 3pm.
 This Friday, January 23rd, at 7:20AM in the teachers cafeteria, we are asking everyone working on this
year’s Black History Planning committee to please meet for our final meeting. This is our final
opportunity to present and put in place all activities for our February Celebration. If you cannot be
present please contact Mrs. Powell A.S.A.P.
 Peer Leadership will be hosting a fundraiser at Chick Fil A in Willowbrook on Tuesday, January 27th
between 4 and 8 p.m. Bring your friends and family for a quality meal and simply mention you are there
on behalf of Hinsdale Central Peer Leadership.
