vital ministry going. Currently there are none. This
volunteer position requires an endorsement to your
driver’s license, with which Trinity will assist, and the
willingness to drive the van one Sunday per month. If
you wish to offer your service for this ministry or have any
questions about it, please contact Parish Care Liaison
Jo-Ann Sadosky at [email protected].
Evensong
Our monthly service of Evensong continues Sunday,
February 1 at 4:00 p.m. in the church. Our monthly
Evensong takes place the first Sunday of the month.
Drumming Circle
The group meets every Wednesday evening at 7:30
p.m. in the church, led by our Precentor and Director of
Music Ministry Bert Landman. All are welcome.
Lenten Soup Supper Series
Adult Christian Formation is sponsoring a series of Lenten
Soup Suppers featuring a program called “Embracing an
Alternative Orthodoxy” with Fr. Richard Rohr, a globally
recognized ecumenical teacher. The suppers will be
Wednesday evenings in Lent – starting on Feb. 25 and
continuing through March 25, with supper beginning at
6 pm and the program beginning at 6:45 pm. The
program features video discussions with Fr. Rohr. These
videos raise challenging and stimulating questions about
belief and practice for Christians in the modern world.
Following each video, we will discuss the issues raised.
All are welcome! Please call the office, or Al Shuckra
(860-561-5470) to register. Registration is encouraged in
order to have a workbook for each participant. The dates
are Feb. 25, Mar. 4, Mar. 11, Mar. 18 and Mar. 25.
2015 Calendars Needed
Please donate any extra 2015 calendars. One of Helen
Hart’s 80 plus clients will be glad to have it to record
appointments. The calendars can be placed on the name
tag table in Goodwin Hall. Thank you!
