Cascades Wi-Fi
Middle School: Friday, January 30th at 7:00pm Roller Skating! Meet at Allskate Fun Center (North
St., across from Optimist) at 7:00pm for roller
skating (or blading) and then we will go to Wendy's across the street on Wisner for a bite to eat.
Cost is $6, which includes roller skate rental (or
$11 to rent roller blades). Bring your own roller
blades to avoid the extra cost. It will be an awesome time of fellowship and falling down! Pick up
is at Wendy's on Wisner at 8:45pm.
We will be printing the Wi-Fi Password in the calendar section on the back of the bulletin from now on.
We will be changing the password monthly.
Annual General Meeting
We are having our Annual General Meeting Today
at 6:00pm.
Awana Happenings
LADIES: What are you wearing today? Are your
clothes clean and lovely, or are they dirty and illfitting? Directed by Linda Morton and Sandia
Kane, the women's Sunday School class is now
studying the kind of "clothes" that the Lord wants
us to wear, that is, the attitudes of heart that
please Him. Please join us.
Measles Night was a huge success with the kids
having a great time reciting and learning their Bible
verses. There were 83 Clubbers. T&T said 268 verses! Sparks said over 100 verses and Cubbies
learned some verses too! There were four in T&T
who made decisions for Christ! There were three in
Sparks and one in T&T that completed their handbooks! Several Leaders had many red dots all over
their faces for each verse said! Everyone was excited!

Charitable Giving Statements
Don’t forget to drop off your items for the gift bags
for foster children at the C.A.R.E.S. collection table in the foyer by next Sunday. Check out the table to see what items they still need.
Annual charitable giving statements are available to
pick up at the Connexions Center from today. You
will find your statement by either your number or
your last name.

Preschool helpers still needed We are recruiting 6 teams of 3
people to serve our preschoolers
during Sunday School. We would
like to begin this rotation soon.
Each team will need 2 adults and
a teen. We are particularly looking for men to serve
in this area.
Third Grade - The third grade class, which meets
during the Worship Service, is in need of a teacher
and helper. Please speak to someone at the connexion desk if you can help with this.

A Thank You Note to The Cascades Family:
We want to say thank you for the many ways you
showed us love during the loss of our mother and
grandmother, Jan Blackgrove. For every phone call,
visit, hug, meals delivered, and mostly for all the prayers. Also, a big thank you to the ladies in the kitchen
that provided a wonderful funeral dinner.
