The objective of Tlanchana Fest, Film and Digital

The objective of Tlanchana Fest, Film and Digital Art Festival is to provide more spaces for the exhibition and allow the new talent show
their work. We encourage the film creation in combination with the new media and digital art.
The first edition of the Tlanchana Fest will be celebrate from April 8th-11th, 2015 in the city of Metepec, Mex., Mexico.
You will find projections, conferences, workshops, lights installation and others activities that complement the digital art area.
Submission
Tlanchana Fest invite you to submit your short film for our first edition. Please read this

Including the following information:
Photo from the film (color at 300 dpi, jpg or tiff format), synopsis of the film (in spanish
and english), brief biography of the Director (in spanish and english), Director’s photograph (color at 300 dpi, jpg or tiff format), the technical info with credits.
The deadline for Submission is March 15, 2015 at 23:59 hrs.
Categories
The categories of competition are:
1. Short Film Fiction
2. Short Film Experimental
3.Short Animation
4.Short documentary
•The short filmed has to be in digital format with a duration of up to 25 minutes (in-
cluding credits).
The categories of exhibition are:
1. Fiction Film
2. Animation Film
3. Documentary Film
•The Film has to be in digital format with a minimum duration of 60 minutes
•There is no limit to the amount of films that a filmmaker or producer may register
•The selection of the films will be the responsibility of the Festival Organization by
means of an renowned Jury, made up of film industry professionals, whose names
shall be announced shortly before the Festival.
The jury’s decision is
final and cannot be appealed.
Conditions
•Music videos, commercial work and political propaganda are not accepted.
•Each Film need to be submitted in one category.
•All work submitted must have been produced from January 1, 2014 to deadline
date.
•In order to be admitted, the materials must be presented with Spanish subtitles if
the language film is different. If the film is without spanish subtitles will be
disqualified immediately.
•If your submission is not complete, we’ll not accept it from the beginning.
•Authors are fully responsible for the rights of their Works.
•Tlanchana Fest will not be responsible for any problem of the rights of the works
If your Film is selected, you will receive an email with a notification of your
selection.
•Festival Organization could show fragments of Films from the Official Selection
with promotional purposes (website, youtube, social networks, TV).
•Selected films may form part of the festival’s travelling showcases, participating
around the world.
•Submission imply conditions acceptance.
Awards
Tlanchana Fest will give each of the participants selected for competition
during the festival a diploma.
Each category will have one winner. All winners shall receive cash award of
$30,000 Mexican pesos and a significant trophy.

Audiovisual A.C.
