The Everett Independent • Wednesday, January 28, 2015 Page 2 Mayor DeMaria thanks the Everett Foundation for Aged Persons Mayor Carlo DeMaria and Carolyn Lightburn, Director of Human Services, recently expressed the City’s appreciation to the Everett Foundation for Aged Persons, Inc. for their generous donation of $12,500 to the Office of Human Services. “I am so grateful to the Everett Foundation for Aged Persons for their generous donation,” states Mayor DeMaria, “This will help us in providing assistance for Everett residents in need. A page is responsible for putting returned books and other items in their proper places on the shelves and for keeping items in the right order. Rana is ranked among the top in her class at EHS and has volunteered at the Everett Libraries for ten (10) years, since 2006. Calvin Braxton, a licensed aerobic and zumba instructor, teaches three classes a week at the Connolly Center. The classes are free of charge through the generosity of the Cambridge Health Alliance, the Mayor’s COA, and the Everett Foundation for the Aged. Everett controlled most of the game, which held the lead by a few points. At the end of the thirdrd quarter, Classical pulled within two points, 53-51. However, Everett overpowered Classical in the fourth quarter. Everett took a strong lead and never turned back, finishing with an 11-point lead and clenching the game.
