About the Seminar
The objective of this National Seminar is to bring together academicians, research
scholars, students & industrialists on a common platform to enlighten on
"Emerging trends & Innovation in Pharmaceutical Education & Research in India"
in divergent fields of Pharmaceutical Education & Research. In 2020, the
pharmaceutical industry will continue to witness major changes and challenges.
Rapid development of the emerging markets, progress in drug research, the rise in
generics production, the availability of high-potency drugs and innovations in
manufacturing processes will sustainably modify the global pharmaceutical
landscape. In view of this, the seminar definitely will create synergies between
industries & research institutions as it will bring together leading experts &
thinkers to a common dais, resulting in a rich, rewarding exchange of views &
experiences.

Nearby places to visit:
The Panchkot Giri or the Panchet hill, about 70
km from Durgapur is about 2100 ft (643 mt) in
altitude and 18 Sq km in stretch. The mixed sal
forest of this area is famous for its rich biodiversity.
Plethora of medicinal plants and herbs are
widespread in this area.

SPER Times [ISSN: 2321-466X] is an Official News Magazine of Society of
Pharmaceutical Education & Research. It is an international news magazine
published quarterly (in the last week of March, June, September and December).

Bishnupur, about 60 km from Durgapur, is famous
for its terracotta temples and baluchari sarees. The
town has a glorious past that is reflected in its rich
architecture, music and handicrafts such as pottery
and weaving.
Shantiniketan, about 55 km from Durgapur was owned
by the Tagore family. In 1862, Maharishi Devendranath
Tagore, the poet's father, while on a boat journey to
Raipur, came across a landscape with red soil and lush
green paddy fields. He decided to plant more saplings
and built a small house. He called his home
Shantiniketan. He founded an ashram here in 1863 and
became the initiator of the Bramho Samaj.
Abstract Submission
Scientific research papers on unpublished/original work are invited for poster
presentation. Submit the abstract online to [email protected] in
Times New Roman font. It should reflect the aspects of the study. Title should be in
bold case (font size 14) full names of the authors followed with their affiliation in
normal font (font size 12), not exceeding 200 words. The presenting authors name
should be bold and marked with astrisk along with e-mail and should be
registered for the Conference.
Poster Presentation Guidelines
Poster content should be divided into following sections: Title, Authors, Affiliation,
Introduction, Material and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion and
References. Poster should be decent and should not exceed in size from 80×120 cm.
Authors are instructed not to use A4 size papers for their poster
presentation.
How to Reach
BCPSR is located in Durgapur [Delhi-Howrah train route] which is well
connected to Kolkata and Eastern Region of the country both by rail and road.
Convenient bus stops leading to college are Durgapur Railway Station [5 km]
and Durgapur City Center [3 km].
