STAINLESS STEEL Luminox uses high grade 316L stainless
steel which has superior strength. 316L steel is also more scratch
resistant and will not oxidize, rust or change color.
TITANIUM A high-tech material used in industries where weight
and strength is important such as aerospace and automobile racing. Titanium is as strong as some steels, but 45 % lighter and
non-allergenic for those with sensitive skin.
PC CARBON We use a special carbon compound material mixed with polycarbonate prior to injection molding that
results in a very stiff and hard finished watch case. Professionals around the world choose it because of its perfect
combination of light weight (comfort), strength and durability. For undercover missions the matte finish material is also
an important benefit.
CRYSTAL Our crystals are specially hardened, scratch resistant mineral glass, (550 to 650 Vickers) approximately 20 %
harder than conventional mineral glass crystals. Our sapphire
crystals are ultra-scratch resistant with anti-reflective coatings
for superior readability at all times.

Deep Dive series passed the very strict ISO 6425 Certification
which requires various water pressure tests up to 62.5 bar
(equivalent to 625m depth) – 25 % higher than indicated on
the watch.
HELIUM VALVE In closed environment deep dives, such as
diving bells, dive vessels, etc., a helium mix of air is used for
breathing. Helium is much thinner than air and can enter into
the watch. The helium valve allows for the release of helium
when re-surfacing as the pressure increases.
STRAP ISO 6425 Certification requires a solid connection of
the strap to the watch case, which is why the Deep Dive straps
are fixed to the case with screw pins.
NUMBERED EDITION Each Deep Dive watch is individually numbered on the case back.
CASE BACK The 5 mm 316L stainless steel case back protects

GMT The first people to require GMT watches were professional and amateur pilots. GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) is the
standard time zone in aviation – all charts and records use
GMT to avoid confusion.
This true GMT timepiece features a secondary hour hand that
can be set to a second time zone (or to GMT) while the primary
hour hand is set to local time.
CROWN The extra-large crown on these timepieces was
designed with the input of test pilots. The large size crown
helps facilitate changing the time when wearing thick gloves.

list of equipment provided these Frogmen of the past and the
Navy SEALs of today with a sense of security that their gear

P-38 LIGHTNING
First conceived in 1937, the twin-boomed P-38 was the most innovative plane of its day and the ultimate weapon, combining speed
with unheard-of advances: two supercharged engines and a
potent mix of four 50-caliber machine guns and a 20mm cannon.
Upon its official introduction in 1940, the P-38 was capable of
climbing to 3,300 feet in a single minute and reaching 400 mph,
100 mph faster than any other fighter in the world. It also
doubled as an intimidating long-range threat, capable of carrying a larger payload than early B-17s and boasting a range of
1,150 miles.
With its distinctive design, the P-38 was sleek and its twin tails gave
it a radical new look. Nicknamed the "fork-tailed devil" by the
Luftwaffe and "two planes, one pilot" by the Japanese, its versatility and ruggedness during WWII were legendary. It could sink a
ship, strafe enemies on the ground, cripple tanks, and shoot down
fighters and bombers.

The SR-71 Blackbird™ is one of the most spectacular aircraft ever
built, a long-range advanced strategic reconnaissance aircraft
developed by the USAF and CIA. It was capable of flying at
speeds over Mach 3.2 and, at 85,000 feet, it could survey 100,000
square miles of earth’s surface per hour.
Throughout its nearly 24-year career, the SR-71 remained the
fastest and highest flying production aircraft in the world. It set
numerous altitude and speed records that remain unsurpassed,
even today. Lockheed’s SR-71 flew U.S. Air Force and NASA missions between 1966 and 1998, when it was permanently retired.
Because of its innovative titanium composite skin designed to
withstand the friction generated heat at Mach 3+, and its black
color, it was nicknamed “Blackbird.”

The F-117 Nighthawk stealth fighter, developed in total secrecy,
was the first operational platform to employ what is known today
as “stealth.” Its startling, unconventional shape clearly signified the
arrival of a new era in fighter performance through low-observable technology. Operation Desert Storm first saw the potential
of an aircraft that could penetrate dense threat environments at
night. Comprising 2 to 3 percent of coalition forces, the F-117
accounted for 30 to 35 percent of first-night targets and hit rates
of 75 percent in Desert Storm to over 90 percent in Operation
Allied Force. The F-117 also sustained the highest mission-capability rates of any deployed fighter or bomber in both conflicts,
exceeding 82 percent.

About Tony Kanaan
Tony Kanaan started racing go-karts in his native Brazil at
the age of 8, later making his way to Europe and then to the
US where he established his racing career. In 2004 Tony
claimed the IndyCar title, completing every single of the

THE MODERN FIELD WATCH
Originating in the 1880's, the field watch gained popularity during the First World
War due to soldier's demands for reliable and portable timepieces. Trench fighting
required quick, accurate timing so watches had to be small enough to be worn on the
wrist. The battlefield environment also created a need for exceptionally water and
shock resistant watches, and the Field watch quickly evolved a distinctive style – rugged and utilitarian with virtually no embellishment. For almost a century, the Field
Watch has epitomized American heritage style, and its popularity continues to grow.
Over time, the style has been updated and contemporized growing in case size with
the trend toward larger watches, and also with the addition of quartz movement reliability with the advent of this technology. Today Field watches come in men's and
women's models, with quartz or mechanical movements and many with automatic
mechanical movements.
