By Paul Howell The fifth annual “A Hero’s 5K Run & Walk” was held Saturday, February 7, at Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina. The event included a kids fun run just after the 5K shotgun start and the “Kids Fun Zone! Arts and Crafts.” 582 Runners registered for the race, and nearly 200 spectators came to see the event. Morrow, Jr. William Penn Morrow, Jr., 81, passed away Tuesday morning, February 3, 2015, following a brief illness. A native of northern Greenville County, he was the son of the late William Penn Morrow, Sr. and Dora Barton Morrow. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Eleanor Connors Morrow.
