Andrew and Barbara McIlroy write “The work in
the Glens of Antrim continues to progress slowly.
Pray for the school assembly in Carnlough, and
for new contacts made recently. This month we
have St Patrick’s Day outreach and plan visitation
with a prayer request leaflet. We begin preparation for a gospel mission at Upper Tannybrake at
the end of May.”
Jenny Kilpatrick reports: “Thank you to many who
have prayed for my dad over the last 8 weeks. He
continues to recover and needs no further treatment, for which we give God all the glory. New
doors are opening into Co Armagh schools to
teach Bible Explorer lessons. “
Tim Foster joined the team for visitation and “The
Anchor Mission @ Carnlea” 22 February –
1 March. All who have taken part have really
known God’s help. Tim joins the team for outreach in the Sperrins 2-6 March. Tim, Ian Booth
and Andrew continue with Prayer Union meetings.
It is thrilling to see how well the children at Laymore Children’s Club are learning verses from
John 14. Many unsaved parents and friends will
attend the Prizegiving on Sunday 15 March. Naomi Dudgeon shares in Laymore Ladies’ Coffee
morning on Wednesday 11 March; this is the last
for the session.
Preparations are ongoing for our three camps.
We have 70 booked already and need more leaders particularly for our Discovery Camp.

Heather Wilson, Co Fermanagh: “While visiting two
new families recently, it was wonderful to find that
God was at work and had gone before. The coffee
mornings in Kinawley are encouraging; the next is
Sat 7th March at 10.30am.” Heather is doing some
preliminary preparation for a District mission in
Ballinaleck in June.
Robert Little reports: “We had a wonderful series of
meetings in early February in the Caledon Courthouse and enjoyed the support from many of God’s
people. Please pray that God will continue to
speak to the unsaved who came. Ronnie Killops
and I have been visiting for the mission in
Tydavnet Community Centre, Co Monaghan (2nd
-22nd March). Early indications from our visiting are that many of the older generation are still
clinging to their religion, but a real relationship with
the Saviour is alien to them and some decline the
offer of a free John's gospel. There are many foreign nationals living in the area and it is proving
difficult
to
communicate
the
gospel
to
them. Please pray that we will be relevant to
these dear folk and that the community will consider Christ at this time.”
The Ladies Afternoon Tea in Killycurragh was a
worthwhile venture with about 60 ladies attending,
including some local unsaved. About seven copies
of ‘No Longer Hoping’ were taken afterwards.

IRISH HEADQUARTERS
Trevor & Sandra Matthews
Dear Praying Friends,
Thank you for all your faithful praying and practical support. We are greatly looking forward to BANGOR CONVENTION, 3-7 April. Pray with us for a time of deep and
lasting blessing. Brochures available—please ask any of
our workers or contact HQ for fresh supplies. We are
planning a new “Living Hope Houseparty” for youth
groups. Contact us for details.
We are so sorry that because of ongoing chronic back
pain, Leslie Brush feels he should take “leave of absence” from the Mission. Mabel continues to handle the
administration for the District and camps through to the
summer. Pray especially for Leslie & Mabel and their
family at this very difficult time and for clear direction in
the appointment of a new superintendent for the North
Irish District.

Garry & Alison Tutty
It was encouraging to have 76 people at our Fellowship
Meal in Eglinton on Sat 28 Feb when the ministry of Rev
Mervyn Carter and “Cornerstone” was appreciated. We
are presently involved in the week of outreach in the
Sperrins, 2-6 March, in and around Plumbridge. It has
been great to meet folk on their own doorsteps and leave
the booklet “No Longer Hoping” in their homes.
Alison is helping the Captain of our local Boy’s Brigade
(Company Section) to prepare for their “Bible Scene” on
Sunday 15 March and for the display on 10 April.
Pray for the ongoing preparation for the mission in
Donemana, 19 April – 3 May, when Trevor Matthews
and Tim Foster join the team and we long for salvation
blessing. Special prayer times are planned in the homes
of some of the local Prayer Union members.
Future Events:
Ladies Coffee Morning: Saturday 14 March in
Ballykelly: Mrs Marjorie Bennett
Strabane Rally: Tuesday 24 March, Rev C Darragh

Naomi Dudgeon is having many good contacts in
West Belfast and her tract, ‘time for truth’ is a
great tool for gaining entrance into homes. She
continues to have many spiritual conversations
and is amazed to find Christians within family
circles. One needy lady she has had contact with
has just sought the Lord.
Yvonne Bennett had the joy of pointing a lady to
the Lord after a Bible Study she led in Scrabo
recently.
We trust this lady’s testimony will
speak to the others who attend Cameo@Scrabo.
Trevor Bennett has done extensive visitation in
preparation for theme nights, resulting in needy
men attending. He, along with others, continues
visitation into different needy areas in Co Down.
An elderly farmer with whom he has contact is
very ill and we long to hear of his salvation.
Trevor plans to take a team into Newry for outreach on St Patrick’s Day.
As a team in this district, we look forward to our
next mission in Listullycurran, near Dromore, 15
- 29 March, and trust hearts will be ready to
receive the Gospel message. At present, we are
seeking an opening for a mission, 17 – 31 May.
It has been good to sense a stillness in some
recent theme nights as the Gospel was being
shared and we are grateful for this ongoing opportunity to reach needy men.
The Glenavy Gospel rally in February was a very
encouraging meeting with quite a few local unsaved attending at the invitation of the Prayer
Union folk.
Thank you for praying for the children’s clubs in this
area. Deerpark club has seen increased attendance, which has been a real encouragement. This
is especially so, as many who now attend the youth
club previously attended the kids’ club. Please pray
for the Family Camp at Carhue, 13-15 March. The
monthly meeting in Church Cross is also on Sunday 15. It has been good to have a number
of unsaved ladies both at CAMEO@CARHUE and
Drimoleague outreach meetings recently. We have
the JOY club in Dunmanway on 26 March. Please
pray for the groups of children and young people
who will use the Carhue Centre over the Easter
period.
Future Events:
Ballyfore, Monday 9 March, Anne Brown
Larne Convention, 13 – 15 March
With Pastor John Shearer
Comber, Sat 21 March, Rev David Clements

Mervyn & Rachel Tomb
We thank the Lord for new opportunities to share
the Gospel. A recent family service in the Carlow
area has opened the way for other future events in
the parish. Many new young people came to our
youth weekend and we had a great time. Most of
the children’s clubs finish at Easter, pray that they
will book into our Summer Camps. Esther Stevenson and Lena Rigby continue with the Fiddown
Bible Club, South Kilkenny. Some children attended on the first week, but did not return. Pray that
barriers preventing children attending would be
overcome.
Future Events:
Mountmellick Bible Weekend 13-15 March, with
Pastor Val English
Fenagh Church of Ireland “Saturday Special” –
(Children’s Bible Club) Saturday 21 March
Sports Hall:
Plumbing is now 75% complete. Doors are now
fitted and final trimming out of these is to be completed in early March. As well as many inside jobs
to finish, we also hope to start planning for the paving of the pedestrian area between the buildings.

Ronnie and Carey Killops continue with their regular programme of assemblies and children’s clubs.
Carey and another Christian lady were thrilled to
point a lady to Christ recently, and they are seeking to disciple her on a weekly basis. Ronnie commenced a three week mission with Robert Little at
Tydavnet on 2nd March and they value prayer for
this spiritually dark area. Some contacts have
been made on visitation. Katie Stevens has seen
gradual growth in the monthly youth meeting in
Portadown, and is also available to speak at
church youth groups. Katie has also received an
opening to lead a weekly girls Bible study with
teenage girls, most of whom have no church connections.
The ongoing work at the Portadown centre continues to bring encouragement with a blessed Ladies
rally at the end of February. The monthly coffee
morning and Bible study are a source of help to
those who come. Mrs Rachel Burke speaks at the
April coffee morning which will be held on
Wednesday 8th. It has been good to have had opportunities to speak at various meetings in the last
few weeks, in addition to the district programme,
and this continues throughout March.
Future Events:
Lisdown Conference – Thursday 5 March
With Mr David Burke
Clonroot Conference – Friday 20 March
With Mr George Conn
Camagh Conference – Friday 17 April
