Job Ref: 557119 - Consultant Anaesthetist • • Whyalla Hospital & Health Service Indicative Total Remuneration: $253,801 - $467,201 – Perm F/T – MD2 Joining the dedicated team at Whyalla Hospital, you will be responsible for providing high quality anaesthetic services. Encouraging teamwork within theatres, you will contribute to the development of pre-anaesthetic and other clinics as appropriate. As part of your role, you will also participate in teaching and training of medical staff and contribute to relevant research activities. You will have the opportunity to be involved in transitioning service delivery models and be exposed to a wide range of pathology, high acuity surgery/anaesthetics and excellent ongoing skills maintenance. You will have Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, or an equivalent specialist qualification, and be registrable as a Specialist in Anaesthesia with the Medical Board of Australia. With demonstrated clinical excellence in the Specialty of Anaesthesia, you will have a strong commitment to the provision of high quality professional services to patients of the Anaesthesia Service both in and out of hours. Along with a flexible approach and a high degree of professional integrity, you will bring the ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision. A strong interest in teaching/training will make you the ideal person for this role.
