The Gators set a new standard with their 6-1 victory
over Mississippi State on March 29, 2009, passing the
previous record of 60.
The last time the Gators fell at home was on May 15,
2004, in the second round of the NCAA Tournament to
Miami (Fla.), 4-3.
Additionally, the streak is the longest active home win
streak of any NCAA DI team.

Florida has won 141 consecutive regular-season home
matches - not including SEC Tournament or NCAA
Championship events. The current streak is the longest
of its kind in program history, passing the 71 in a row
compiled from 1994-2001.
The Gators’ last regular-season setback at Linder
Stadium was on April 7, 2002, when Georgia defeated
Florida, 4-3.

National Indoors Recap
Florida reached the semifinal round of the ITA National
Team Indoor Championship following wins over No. 13
Clemson (4-3) and No. 10 Virginia (4-1). The Gators fell
to the eventual champion No. 3 UNC Tar Heels, 4-0, in
the semis.
Pick Six
Six different players on the Florida roster picked up a
singles point for the Gators across the two matches
played during the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.
A Special Win
Spencer Liang, a transfer from Harvard, picked up her
first singles win in a Gator uniform on her 20th birthday (Jan. 25) as part of the 4-0 victory over #68 Maryland. Coincidentally, Liang hails from Potomac, Md.
Freshman Firsts
Three freshmen competed in their first collegiate dual
match in the season-opener vs. Elon: Brooke Austin,
Josie Kuhlman and Peggy Porter. All three picked up
their first doubles wins, while Austin and Porter tallied
their first singles wins as well.
Opening Day Success
The Gators defeated Elon, 4-0, in their first match of
the season on Jan. 24, 2015 to open the ITA Kick-Off
Weekend in Gainesville. Florida improved to 40-3 alltime in season-opening dual matches. UF has won 31
consecutive season-openers, with the last loss being a
7-2 setback at Miami on Feb. 1, 1985.
