Becky, an energetic an enthusiastic teenager, is on an adventure holiday with friends when she
accidentally and fatally falls from a high cliff. However, when she wakes up she finds herself in “The
Waiting Room”. Here she meets the mysterious Cornelius, a celestial being with a love of tea. He has
come to help her to adjust to the fact of her death by allowing her to visit earth again. She can see the
people she knew, or share experiences she would like to have had in life. Becky therefore takes a series
of visits back to earth to see former friends, to visit new countries and even to become a film star.
However, her visits unintentionally have effects which cause major problems both for her and for the
celestial beings watching over her.
