As we expand our network in Rwanda, we are looking to recruit a Sales Manager.
Details of the position are outlined below:
SALES MANAGER
BASIC FUNCTION
This position is responsible for supervising the retail and corporate sales staff, managing and growing the
customer portfolio, identifying new business opportunities and converting them to sales and dealing with
customer complaints and claims.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
a) Supervise retail and corporate sales staff and provide support to them where necessary
b) Oversee timely collection of debt in liaison with the sales staff
c) Ensure customer satisfaction by effectively following up on customer complaints and ensure timely
resolution
d) Create and maintain a fleet profile for all existing and potential customers
e) Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets
f) Develop proposals and make presentations to prospective customers
g) Allocate customers to various sales staff as and when the need arises
h) Conduct and compile market analysis in terms of competitor pricing, stock holdings, logistics and product
information
i) Contribute in developing sales strategy for the company
j) Oversee communication of new products and services, special developments and any other useful
information to customers
k) Oversee claims handling process
l) Entertain key customers where necessary to maintain good relations
m) Prepare sales report
n) Perform any other duties that may be required

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
The minimum requirements of this job are:
a) Bachelors degree in sales and marketing
b) Valid driving licence
c) At least 3 years’ experience in a sales managerial position
d) Good knowledge of automobile mechanics will be advantageous
e) Computer literacy
