The Executive Engineer, Rajarajeshwari Nagara Division, BBMP, Bangalore invites tenders from eligible
Contractors registered in Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike or equivlanet registration with CPWD/
KPWD/ Railways/ MES/ National Highway or any State Government Organisations for the construction of
work detailed in the table below. The tenderers may submit tenders for work given in the table through eprocurement portal of the Governemnt of Karnataka (viz https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in). The Tenderers are
advised to note the minimum qualification criteria specified in clause 3 of the Instructions to Tenderers to
qualify for award of the contract (Standard Tender Document – KW1, 2 & 3)

Tenders must be accompanied by Earnest Money Deposit specified for the work in the table below. Earnest
money deposit will have to be in any one of the forms as specified in the Tender document and shall have to
be valid for 90 days beyond the validity of the tender.

Tenders must be submitted online through e-procurement portal on or before 4.00 pm hours on 29.04.2015
and Date of opening of tender is 02.05.2015 at 4.00 pm and as per the e-procurement guidelines.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

No Joint Venture/Consortium is permissible.
Conditional Tenders will not be accepted.

The Contractor has to make own arrangements for procurement of all materials required for the work. There
is no departmental supply of materials. Contractor should rocure materials with BIS or other elevant
standards & obtain necessary quality control certificates from authorized quality control authority.

The Contractor is not eligible for submission of application for tender form if he has not put the tender after
purchase of the tender document continuously for three times.

Sub-letting of work is prohibited.
Any Corrigendum/Modification will be notified in the Notice Board of the undersigned.

Aspiring Bidders / Contractors who have not registered in e-procurement should register before
participating through the website https://eproc.karnataka.gov.in

The tenders shall be strictly as per the formats and terms and conditions specified in the tender documents.
Lump sum tenders will not be considered. Separate tenders shall be submitted for each work.

Tenderers can submit the tenders for all the works, However this is subject to fulfillment of tender capacity
condition as per standard tender document for procurement of works Regarding the validity of bid security
(EMD). Tender condition etc., PWG-65 and STD(KW-1, 2 & 3) shall be referred and is binding on the
Tenderer.

The Tenderer shall have executed and completed successfully in the last five years i.e. between 2008-2009
and 2012-2013 a single work of similar nature of value not less than the estimated value of Contract. In
support of this, the Tenderer shall furnish a Work Completion Certificate duly certified by the Competent
Authority along with Technical Bid.

The Tenderer should have achieved in at least two financial years a minimum turnover not less than the
Two times the amount put to tender.

Work Completion Certificate for having completed at least one work of similar nature of value not less than
the estimated value of Contract, certified from the Competent Authority not below the Rank of Executive
Engineer shall be uploaded. The Work Completion Certificate shall mention the Nature of Work, Items of
Work executed and the Date of Commencement and Date of Completion of the Work.

The Tenderers shall upload the valid & present Certificate copies of PAN, VAT No., Service Tax
Registration No, Contractor’s Registration Pass Book for technical bid qualification eligibility.

As per Special. Commissioner (project) Circular No. ION/PR/(1)/08/07-08, Dt:16/10/07, and EngineerInChief Order No: EIC/EC/PR/606/07-08, dated: 24/9/2007. The following conditions are stipulated in the
tender, “The amount quoted by the tenderer is less than the tender amount, such tenderer shall remit the
difference amount before signing the Agreement, in the form of DD in favour of Executive Engineer,
Rajarajeshwari nagara Division, B.B.M.P. along with separate E.M.D. amount. This difference amount will
be returned after, satisfactory completion of the work only and failure to comply the said conditions, the
tender will be rejected

The work shall be carried out as per the directions of the BBMP and Engineer in-charge

Black Listed Contractors / in Govt. / Quasi Govt. / Boards / BBMP etc., are not eligible to quote, if found
such Tenders will be rejected.

The successful Tenderer shall pay the Difference Cost if any within 7 days from the date of receipt of the
intimation from this Office, failing which the Tender will get cancelled and EMD amount will be forfitted
without any further notices.

The successful Tenderer shall execute an Agreement within 7 days from the date of receipt of the intimation
from this Office, The Tender Document will form the part and parcel of the Agreement. failing which the
Tender will deem to be get cancelled.

All the participants should produce all the original documents for verification whenever necessary

The Taxes & Cesses will be Deducted as per the governing norms and certificate will be issued in favour of
the Contractor from every running bill / final bills of the contractor:

The rates quoted in the schedule shall be inclusive of all taxes applicable.

The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike reserves the right to accept / reject any or all the Tenders
without assigning any reasons.

The Tender will remain valid for 90 Days after the Deadline Date for Tender Submission

As per Standard Tender Document The successful tendere shall deliver to the employer as Security
Deposite 5% of contract price in form of DD in favour of Executive Engineer, Rajarajeshwari Nagara
Division, BBMP, Bangalore at time of before signing the agreement.

As per Government order no. LD 300/LET/2006, dt: 18/01/2007, 1% of the Estimated Cost will be
deducted and remitted to Karnataka State Building & Other Construction Employees Welfare Board.

The defect liability period for civil works & Asphalt works upto 20mm thick maintenance period is one year
& more than 20mm thick maintenance period is one year from the date on final bill. The E.M.D and F.S.D.
will be refunded only after the defect liability period.
