Hafner Vineyard Wine Cave Dinner for 10
Dinner by Chef Douglas Keene
Sarah and Parke Hafner invite 10 of you to join them for a night
of pure magic at Hafner Vineyard in the heart of Alexander Valley.
You will share wine, food and laughter in the intimate setting
of their wine caves. Established in 1967, Hafner Vineyard
produces some of the Valley’s finest Chardonnays and Cabernets.
On a mutually agreed upon evening, their friend, Chef Douglas Keane,
will be preparing your exquisite dinner to be paired with Hafner Vineryard
wines. Douglas was born in Detroit and brought his Midwest work ethic
to San Francisco in 1998, and shortly thereafter he moved to Sonoma
County. Through his groundbreaking restaurant Cyrus, in Healdsburg,
Douglas amassed a litany of awards including Two Michelin Stars and
Four Stars from the SF Chronicle both for seven years. Douglas was also
awarded the James Beard Award for Best Chef California, and recently
he won the Bravos Top Chef Masters competition and was able to bring
in $120,000 for his charity Green Dog Rescue Project. His most cherished
“awards” are the relationships he forged and cultivated with the local
growers of Sonoma County. Douglas is currently working on reopening
Cyrus and hopes to have the doors open in 2016.

Summer Camp for Kids: The 80 Days of Separation
The final offering of this evening’s benefit is the opportunity for each guest
to send a Kid to Summer Camp.
There are approximately 80 days between the end of one school
year and the beginning of the next one. During that time, children loose
an incredicle amount of educational skills and learning. But, by attending
our Boys & Girls Camps these skills are not only retained but also
enhanced though our many different programs, all while having FUN!
Also, these little campers are introduced to activities that are no longer
offered in our public system, such as the arts and music. And, as all good
camps should have, physical play is a vital part of each day.
Please help send Kids to Summer Camp.
Our Club’s Summer Camp is for 9 Weeks
5 Days a week
10 Hours a day (includes breakfast,
lunch and a snack)
Total Cost: $1,000 per child for the entire summer
