A Study On Development Of Academic Literature Of Aviation Finance In
Turkey

Abstract
In this research, a general review of thesis and article written on the field of aviation finance in Turkey
is conducted. In line with this aim, firstly master’s thesis and doctoral dissertations conducted about
aviation finance which are available in The Council of Higher Education (YOK) thesis centre; secondly
the full texts of all the articles about aviation finance listed in Akademia Social Sciences Index (ASOS
Index), National Academic Network and Information Centre (ULAKBİM) and Google Academic are
analysed. The data in question are analysed by content analysis method. In this process, the studies are
categorized basing on various variables such as the method used, data analysis techniques and subject.
Acquired findings are presented in accordance with this categorization, and this direction situation
determination is tried to be performed.
