For that reason, the ceremony is to be held with dignity and courtesy to others. All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a manner appropriate for the occasion, including the manner in which you receive your promotion certificate. Any inappropriate behavior will result in your immediate removal from the ceremony. Forms will be distributed to students the week of May 11th and will be due back by May 20th. Last Day for 8th Graders: 8th grade students who participate in the Promotion Ceremony have met all the requirements to be promoted to 9th grade on May 29, 2015. All parents/guardians should complete the Early Release form to indicate whether or not you plan to send your child to school the following week on June 1st, 2nd, and or 3rd. 8th grade students who still need to recover credits to be promoted to the 9th grade should return to school on June 1st and work through June 3rd to recover their courses.
