2015 PLAYER NOMINATION FORM
Nominations are OPEN to players turning 16 years and over.
The Marlin Coast region is inviting players who are interested in trialing for the 2015 Marlins
squad.
A squad of up to 15 players will be selected with the allowance to adjust this squad if needed with
player movements.
TRIALS WILL BE HELD IN JANUARY -Saturday 31st January starting at 2.30pm At
YMCA Smithfield
Anticipated start date of MQSNL is 9/10th May 2015 with finals in September 2015 (in Brisbane),
Trial Fee of $20 is payable to Marlin Coast Netball Region bank Account. Please use your surname
as the identifier if paying by direct debit. Payment can be made on the day or direct deposit.
As the Marlin Coast Region has a transient and tourism based workforce we are hoping to have a
squad of players.
The Marlins will have 5 weekends in Brisbane and 2 in Townsville and one home game at YMCA.
The Draft draw is with manager Klasina Scholtens if you need to confirm dates available to travel.
If players are unable to attend the trials and still wish to be considered, they are to forward their
application together with a covering letter explaining why they could not attend trials.
Players will be required to pay $250.00 levy when selected and be prepared to do any
fundraising the region requests. Players are encouraged to get their own individual sponsors.
