University of Mumbai - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences
(UM-DAE CBS) has been established on the Kalina campus of the University of Mumbai to impart
high quality education in the Basic Sciences after the 10+2 (or, equivalent) level of schooling, in a
vibrant academic ambiance by a faculty of distinguished teachers and scientists.
CBS invites applications from eligiblecandidates for the post of Project Assistant to work on a DST
funded research project on a consolidated honorarium for a period of one year, initially:

Details of qualifications and Honorarium
a. Qualification: M.Sc. in Physical Chemistry/Organic
Chemistry/Inorganic Chemistry. Applicants should
have at least First class or 60% marks (55% marks for
SC/ST) in last qualifying degree. Students appearing in
the final year of graduation may also apply but their
final selection will only be subject to their being able to
pass and produce their Graduation Certificate/Mark
sheets with the minimum stipulated marks as on
01.08.2015.
b. Honorarium:Rs.16,000/- p.m. + HRA, as admissible
