Vision
“To optimally manage stakeholders’, expectations”
Mission Statement
“To promote and uphold the company’s image and reputation through strategic communication to all
stakeholders and ensure efficient planning and coordination of events”
In alignment with our Organizational Culture and Code of Business Conduct, CBS will ensure that
matters of CSR are considered and supported in our operations and administrative matters and are
consistent with CBS stakeholders’ best interest.
This Policy applies to activities undertaken by or on behalf of CBS and its controlled subsidiaries
anywhere in the world.
All CBS employees and contractors will adopt the CSR considerations described in this policy into their
day-to-day work activities. CBS leaders will act as role model by incorporating those considerations into
decision-making in all business activities. CBS leaders will ensure that appropriate organizational
structures are in place to effectively identify, monitor, and manage CSR issues and performance relevant
to our businesses.
This Policy is built on the following areas that reflect existing and emerging standards of CSR:
1. Workplace
Our ability to deliver world-class products is dependent on a talented, engaged workplace in all of the
countries in which we operate. To this end, we are focused on making CBS a place where people feel
supported, can develop their skills, and have a clear understanding of our business objectives.
We are committed to ensuring that our entire business is conducted according to rigorous professional,
ethical and legal standards. To support this, we shall develop a Code of Ethics/Organizational Culture
and Code of Business Conduct, which should seek to define what we stand for as an organization, and to
bring employees under a clear, common purpose.
Additionally, we:



Operate an equal-opportunity policy for all present and potential future employees;
Offer our employees clear and fair terms of employment and provide resources to enable their
continual development;
Maintain a clear and fair employee remuneration policy and maintain fora for employee
consultation and business involvement.

2. Stakeholder Relation
CBS will engage stakeholders clearly, honestly, and respectfully.
CBS is committed to timely and meaningful dialogue with all stakeholders, including shareholders,
customers, and employees, indigenes, governments, and regulators, among others.
3. Human Rights
CBS recognizes that governments have the primary responsibility to promote and protect human rights.
CBS will work with governments and agencies to support and respect human rights within our sphere of
influence.
CBS will not tolerate human right abuses, and will not engage in or complicit in any activity that solicits
or encourages human rights abuse.
CBS will always strive to build trust, deliver mutual advantage and demonstrate respect for human
dignity and rights in all relationships it enters into, including respect for cultures, customs and values of
individuals and groups.
4. Community Investment
CBS stresses collaborative, consultative, and partnership approaches in our community investment
programs.
CBS will integrate Community Investment considerations into decision-making and business practices,
and will assist in local capacity building to develop mutually beneficial relationships with communities.
CBS will contribute to our host communities’ quality of life by supporting innovation programs in health,
education, social services and the environment, as well as cultural and civic projects.
a) Education
At CBS, we believe in the power of expression and education. The social and economic future of the
nation can only be molded through education, prompting us to provide moral and financial support in the
education sector through our CSR initiatives.
b) Health & Safety
Environmental pollution is an integral part of our larger community and the negative effect of this cannot
be over emphasized. While the larger community is constantly being endangered, through periodic
screening, we at CBS aim to detect the killer diseases and ailments in time before they escalate into
something worse. Productivity can only be achieved when there is sound health.
3
c) Donations
Our duty to the community cannot be effectively fulfilled without being part of their way of life.
Through donation, we aim to support and contribute to the well-being of the people financially
depending on their needs because the public are our family.
d) Job Creation
CBS would strive to provide employment and economic opportunities to the communities where we
operate.
