6th Sunday after Pentecost / Red Sunday, July 5, 2015 A message from our pastor... Welcome Rev. Mark Magoni It is my pleasure to welcome The Rev. Mark Magoni to the pulpit at Centerville UMC today. Mark is the former pastor at Wesley UMC on Hartley Bridge Rd. He is now serving as the new Chaplain at the United Methodist Home for Children and Youth in Macon, Columbus, Americus, Valdosta, and St. Marys. In addition to giving spiritual guidance to the children and staff, Mark takes a great deal of time to go around and share the story of the UM Home at churches like our own. Mark calls Columbus, GA his home where he graduated from Columbus High School. He went to The University of Georgia and to Asbury Theological Seminary. He has served St. Paul UMC in Columbus as Youth Director and Associate Pastor. He also served Midland UMC in Columbus, Wesley UMC in Macon and now calls the UM Home his place of ministry. He and Fran live in Warner Robins where she is the Minister of Children At Harvest UMC. They have three grown daughters.
