W.R.A.P.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan By Mary Ellen Copland
It was developed by a group of people who have a lived
experience of mental health; people who were searching for ways
to resolve issues that had been troubling them for a long time.
WRAP is a self-designed plan for staying well and for helping you
to feel better when you are not feeling well, to increase personal
responsibility, and to improve your quality of life.
WRAP involves listing your personal resources, your Wellness
Tools, and then using those resources to develop Action Plans to
use in specific situations which are determined by you. WRAP is
adaptable to any situation. WRAP also includes a Crisis Plan.
We can help you creating your own W.R.A.P. in a free ten week
course, call us for more information.
Alternatives to Suicide
Tuesdays 12:45-1:45 and Saturday 11:30-1:30
As a community we have found strength in coming together to talk
about many 'taboo' topics and to support one another in our times
of greatest distress. Our collective wisdom and individual stories
have taught us that the space to come together in this way can
be powerful and healing. It is out of this work and learning that
the Alternatives to Suicide approach was born.
