PTO Minutes
March 20, 2015
Meeting called to order at 6:31 p.m.
Previous meeting minutes and treasurers report were read and approved
 Superintendent Dr. Brad Saron spoke and discussed The Tons of Opportunities the Chippewa
Falls School District offers with More Things to Love….A Great Place to Live…a Great Place to
Love. He offered and open forum discussion.
Old Business
 Kindergarten Registration was held on April 1st. 21 Kindergarteners are registered to date.
 Staff Appreciation Lunch will be held on Tuesday, May 5th. Volunteer announcement will go
home this week. Please contact Dana Brehmer if you are able to donate a food item or help
serve.
New Business
 The top sellers from the Pizza Fundraiser last fall received their reward limo ride on April 14th.
 Officer Nominations are still open until the next PTO meeting held on May 18th. Please contact
one of the current PTO officers if you are interested in being nominated. You must attend the
May meeting to be eligible.
To date the nominees are:
President: Jennifer Brown
Vice President: Kevin Kremenauer and Leslie Klay
Secreatery: Lauren Bobb, Stephanie Lazarz
 The Fitness-a-thon fundraiser will close out on April 30th with a completion celebration of a
color blast walk/run picnic event. This event will take place on Sunday, May 3rd at 3 p.m.
This event will also take the place of the end of the year party at the middle school.
Predictions show that we are on target for making our goal of $4000. from the fundraiser
and 220 people are predicted to attend the color blast run/walk event.
Principal Comments
 PTO will match the money earned for Irvine Park new building project. The students earned
$195.
 30 Headphones are needed for the computer lab. PTO has agreed to purchase these.
 The Buddy Bench logo and message has been approved and will be installed over the summer.
It is to be revealed for the 2015/2016 school year.
Teacher Comments
Miss Bernhardt was the teacher representative. She wanted to send her appreciation for all that the
PTO does for the school and students.
