The City of Sarnia Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with Sarnia Gives, presents: COMMUNITY PARKS
CLEAN-UP DAY
Saturday, April 25th, 2015
10:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
Through this initiative, which coincides with Earth Week, we are asking our community to get outdoors into their
neighborhoods and parks. We invite you, our citizens, community groups/committees, local service clubs, and
local organizations to:
1.
Gather and assemble a crew
2.
Identify a park space you wish to clean
3.
Register that site with our Parks and Recreation Department
Once registered, clean-up groups will receive supplies and support within those parks (gloves, garbage/recycling bags/, paint,
rakes, first-aid kit). Supplies provided by Nova Chemicals
FREE BBQ to all registered participants will follow at Canatara Park, brought to you in part by the Rotary After Hours Club.
Walk For Muscular Dystrophy
Saturday, May 9th: 10am – 2pm: The Sarnia-Lambton chapter of Muscular Dystrophy Canada are looking for youth volunteers
