THE DEPOT GALLERY
CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
The Depot Gallery is pleased to announce its first exhibition of works by recent
graduates, to be held from July–August 2015. Located in The Depot Building (814
West Broad Street), The Depot Gallery spans over 3,500 square-feet in a premier
location, perfect for bringing the creative works from VCUarts students, alumni
and the community to the public.
We seek submissions from alumni who graduated from VCUarts at either the
undergraduate or graduate level between 2004 and 2014.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
_All forms of making, seeing and doing will be considered including: music,
performance, visual arts and other alternative forms of expression.
_Recent work preferred.
_Collaborations and interdisciplinary perspectives are encouraged.
_Site-specific work will be accepted.
_Proposals for a work in progress or a finished work will be accepted.
PROPOSALS MUST INCLUDE:
_Name, email address, mailing address
_Department affiliation
_Graduation semester and year
_2–3 sentences about the work
_Media, size, exhibition history and other specifications
_Special equipment needed, if applicable
_Availability, if performance is involved
_Short bio
_Website, if applicable
