Come along after school and join a group of enthusiastic and motivated students who are aiming to do well this year. You can access peer tutoring, one on one help from subject teachers and also get Tongan language and Samoan language tutoring. The centre operates every Wednesday from 3.30pm to 5pm. See you there. The meeting will be brief so please be prompt. This meeting is compulsory for those who participated in the bucket run. General AGS-EGGS MODEL UN: D13 Thursday lunchtime (zRAM) Do you want a taste of what it's like being a diplomat at an international conference? Do you want to debate critical issues with your friends? The AGS/EGGS Model United Nations Conference offers everyone the opportunity to learn more about the United Nations and represent a country. The conference is held on 10th May at Auckland Grammar. If you are interested in registering or have any questions, come to a meeting in D13 on Thursday lunchtime or email [email protected]. Thank you to all those girls who have returned their permission slips. We are close to our limit so if you are still wanting to commit to Trampoline then you need to get your permission slip and your fees in ASAP. All students interested in TV and radio broadcasting & producing as well as journalism are welcome to attend. Please ensure you have paid and registered before this. No pay no trial. Sports Lunchtime Pilates Sports (zHUR) Lunchtime Pilates classes will start again Tuesday 28th April Term 2 and finish on the 23rd June. If you signed up for the 13 weeks last term you are guaranteed a place. If you only signed up for 4 weeks you will need to re-register and the 9 week cost will be $30. Your instructor is Sarah Stanley, a fully qualified Classical Pilates instructor with a Professional Certificate from Peak Pilates. Classical Pilates is based on Joseph Pilates original exercise routines, aiming to develop strength, stamina and flexibility. Classes follow a set pattern and over time, progress from basic to more advanced exercises. Sarah’s training included the study of Anatomy and Physiology and she is actively involved in sport. She teaches Pilates in 2 Auckland studios and is qualified to teach both mat and equipment sessions. Please come to the Sports Office to register - limited to the first 15 to pay.
