National Coordinator/ EXPERTISE FRANCE
Expertise France/ Initiative ESTHER, a French Cooperation agency, is looking for a full time
National Coordinator based in Liberia. The coordinator will be responsible to coordinate and
manage the Expertise France program in Liberia and to align activities with the Ministry of
Health and it’s (inter)national partners. The National Coordinator will be in charge of
coordination, planning, monitoring and evaluating the operations of the implementing partners,
to facilitate learning among partners.
The main tasks and responsibilities of the National
Coordinator will be to:




Ensure proper coordination and management of the program
Planning, monitoring and evaluation of the implementing partners
Ensure strong learning among the implementing partners and other relevant stakeholders
Representing the program on national level towards the Ministry of Health and other
relevant stakeholders
Qualifications and Skills needed:







University degree in Public health or social sciences with (preferably) related experience
in the program field
Basic knowledge of health, IPC and HIV related issues
Strategic thinking and innovation
Planning and organizing skills
Sound capacity building and program facilitation skills, preferably experience in
programs with multiple implementing partners
Negotiation, networking and advocacy skills
Communication skills





Knowledge of the political, social and economic situation in Liberia
Knowledge of development issues in Liberia
Basic knowledge of financial aspects on financing organizations
Experience with narrative & financial report writing
Excellent language skills in English
