YOUTH & HERITAGE IN QUIXOTE LAND Fibicc is a nonprofit institution that promotes training, cooperation and specific research in the fields of culture, art and creativity, in Europa, Latin America and Africa. We started our activity with a team of Young professionals and creative cultural management in a context of economic, social and cultural shift, with the aim to respond to the growing importance of cultural and creative industries in the global economic scenario. HOW? Supporting those who want to innovate in the field of culture and creativity worldwide, from entrepreneurs to managers, designers, programmers and researchers. Contributing to the development of top professionals in the industry through our educational programmes in collaboration with several universities and academic institutions. Encouraging the development of culture in Spain, Latin America and Africa. And making regular research and divulgation work in order to help consolidate and improve practices within an industry with a long road ahead. THE PROJECT (EVS) The Project is developed in a town of 8.000 inhabitants, around 150 km far from Madrid. We want to perform this Project in order to develop the cultural centre “LA HARINERA”, an old flour Factory, as a cultural and artistic place. The main object of this Project is maximize the social and intercultural perspective in the european youth. The aim of our Project is that our volunteers learn about the organization and realization of cultural activities for the restoration and dissemination of cultural heritage. So the main objectives are as follows: Enhance partnership working to intercultural level and encouraging the initiative in the organization and management of the La Harinera activities. Promote the cultural values between the Young people through the intercultural work, which depends on the resources of the host town. Promote social integration of participants through active labour with the cultural sectors (folk groups, bands, popular traditions, etc.), and the leisure (youth associations). These objectives are related to the Erasmus + program, Action Key 1, based on: Promote relations between different cultures and obtain skills both personally and professionally. This Project will work aspects than: - European cultural heritage as social network. Social and cultural awareness in the european youth. The activities to be developed in “La Harinera” are: Restoration of machinery. Collaborate in the Museum. Organization and management of music events. Exhibition management. Collaborate in our educational programs. Participate in group activities to work tradition. Youth working.
