LUCKY DRAW TERMS & CONDITIONS
Information on how to participate, Lucky Draw Rules and General Terms and Conditions form part of
these Lucky Draw Terms & Conditions. By registering or taking part in this lucky draw, all persons
participating herein (the “participants”) agree to be bound by these Lucky Draw Terms and Conditions
fully and unconditionally.
Lucky Draw Rules
1. The Lucky Draw is open to all individual Singapore citizens and residents of the Republic of
Singapore who are (i) aged 18 and above as at the start of the promotional period (if you are
under the age of 18, you should obtain the consent of your parents or legal guardians before
participating or submitting any personal information), (ii) not prohibited in any manner by any
person, entity, authority or law anywhere in the world from participating in this Lucky Draw or any
similar lucky draw, and (ii) not employees and immediate family members of LINE Singapore, its
agencies and other parties which are directly involved and/or associated in organizing, promoting
and/or conducting with this lucky draw. By participating in the Lucky Draw, you represent and
warrant that you have met the eligibility criteria set out under these Lucky Draw Rules and
General Terms and Conditions and that you consent to the use by LINE Singapore of your
personal information for feedback, promotional and marketing purposes.
2. The Promotion is open to persons in Singapore who participate using a mobile device with a
Singapore telephone number (each a “Participant”).
3. The Promotion will run from 14 April 2015 – 31 May 2015 (“Promotion Period”).
4. (*Note: LINE Singapore has the right from time to time to set a maximum number of
winners per day and for the entire Promotion. LINE Singapore reserves all rights to make
amendments to the event without prior notice.)
5. All Entries (defined below) must be received by LINE's system by 23:59:59 (Singapore time) daily
during 14 April 2015 – 31 May 2015. Late and invalid entries will be automatically disqualified and
will not be entertained. The time is based on LINE's server’s system time.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE
6. Step1: Install LINE app on your compatible smartphone.
7. Step 2: Follow EZ-Link’s LINE Official Account on LINE. Once you have successfully followed
LINE Event Singapore, you will receive a Welcome message on CHAT with the Promotion
participation instruction.
8. Step 3: Type “EZ-Link EZ-Reload” (“Entry”) and you will instantly enter into the lucky draw for a
chance to win EZ-Link free top-up.
(*Note: Subject to a maximum number of Coupon giveaways per day and a maximum
number of Coupon giveaways for the overall Promotion, to be set by LINE Singapore in
its sole discretion).
9. Each Participant can send an Entry not more than once every day from 10am onwards during the
Promotion Period.
10. Throughout the Promotion, a Participant can only receive a maximum of ONE (1) Coupon. In
other words, once a Participant receives a Coupon, he/she will not be eligible to receive a second
Coupon.
11. Each daily prize is strictly valid only for redemption of a single top-up value in Singapore dollars
for one (1) EZ-Link card and not transferrable into multiple EZ-Link cards. This promotion is not
transferable and is strictly limited to one lucky draw chance per LINE Singapore registered user per

day. Standard LINE Singapore promotion terms and conditions apply. LINE Singapore reserves the
right to amend terms and conditions without prior notice.
12. Only entries that are complete and correct as deemed by LINE Singapore and its authorized
employees and officers (“LINE Singapore”) will be deemed as eligible. Participants shall participate in
the Lucky Draw on his or her own account, and shall not submit entries, forms or participate on behalf
of other persons.
13. There will be a daily notification and electronic draw during the promotional period. Winners will be
notified immediately through LINE mobile application and redemption of the prizes mechanism is
below:

From the day of winning, winners shall have 3 calendar days to provide the requested
information necessary for top-up.
Upon receipt of the winner information and at the last calendar day (given that it is filled out c
orrectly), the top-up amount shall be registered to the CAN ID the User provided within five (
5) business days. We will notify winners once the card is ready for top-up.

The winner of the top-up prize shall have three (3) months till the last date of 12 August 20
15 to synchronize the top-up amount to their card once the top-up is registered in order to re
deem the prize. All un-synchronized cards after these three (3) months will strictly be consid
ered invalid and will not be entertained.

14. The daily following prizes are available to be won: $10 equivalent top-up cash value for EZ-Link
cards only.
T&C:
- Winners are to redeem their prizes according to the stipulated deadlines and above locations.
- The daily lucky draw prizes are in the form of EZ-Link card top-up values and are not transferrable or
exchangeable or redeemable for cash
- Each daily lucky draw prize can only be redeemed once (1) per person in one (1) EZ-Link card
15. Winners will be notified immediately via LINE mobile application as at time of participation.
Winners shall ensure that they remain contactable at all times. If LINE Singapore fails to contact any
winner for any reason whatsoever, it shall at its discretion elect to determine another winner in
accordance with the Lucky Draw mechanism.
16. Prizes won are not transferable, or exchangeable or redeemable for cash, but only as top-up
values in their EZ-Link cards. Each prize is only entitled to be in one (1) EZ-Link card top-up. Winners
are responsible for collecting in person any prizes won.
17. Winners will be required to bring personally the following verification documents to be eligible to
collect their top-up prize at the relevant locations in Singapore: Their EZ-Link card that matches the

CAN ID of what was inputted into the research page by the User. Winners who has any questions
pertaining to the above promotions, please write in to ([email protected]).
18. Other prizes include free Krispy Kreme Original Glazed® Doughnuts and LINE Merchandise sets,
of which winning notifications will be made via electronic redemption coupons sent out from EZ-Link
Official Account Chatroom in LINE mobile application. Redemption details and validation period will
strictly be based on what is indicated on the coupon when you receive it.
HOW TO REDEEM
a. For prize redemption of $10 top-up amount only:
- Once the top-up amount is registered onto your card, you may top-up your card at the

24. If the LINE mobile application on a Participant’s smartphone is deleted and re-installed for any
reason, the Coupon will not be saved and will be deemed forfeited.
25. LINE Singapore decision on all matters relating to this lucky draw will be final, binding and
conclusive on all persons participating in this Lucky Draw, and no correspondence will be entertained.
16. Where prizes contain a specified validity period during which it should be utilized, no requests for
extensions or replacements whatsoever will be entertained. Prizes which remain unclaimed by any
participant after the announcement of the winners and after the redemption deadline shall be
conclusively forfeited by such participant, and such forfeited prize shall be dealt with at LINE
Singapore’s discretion in accordance with applicable laws.
27. Any trademarks, graphic symbols, logos or intellectual property contained in any materials used in
connection with this Lucky Draw, in particular that relating to the Lucky Draw prizes, are the property
of their respective owners. LINE Singapore and its affiliates and contractors are not affiliated with, or
endorsed or sponsored by, such owners and their relevant affiliates. Any dispute about the quality,

merchantability, and fitness and purposes of the goods and services must be resolved directly with
the manufacturer.
28. The daily following prizes are available to be won:
1) Up to 9,210 Users will win the top-up.
2) Up to 5,900 users will win a Krispy Kreme Original Glazed® Doughnut each worth S$2.60.
3) Up to 300 LINE Merchandise sets each worth S$50.
General Terms & Conditions
1A. By entering into this Lucky Draw, each participant agrees that LINE Singapore, its respective
affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotions agencies, and their respective officers, directors,
and employees (the “Relevant Organisers”) shall not be liable for injury, loss, claims or damage of any
kind arising out of or in connection with participating in this draw/Lucky Draw, the participants’ acts
omissions or negligence, and/or from the acceptance or use/misuse of the prize awarded. Each
participant agrees to waive and release the Relevant Organisers from the above-mentioned claims
and liabilities. This includes, without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and
claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy, to the extent not prohibited by
applicable written laws.
1B. To the maximum extent permitted by law, each participant and anyone entitled or agreed to act on
his/her behalf, agrees to indemnify each of the Relevant Organisers from any losses, damages, costs,
expenses, claims or liabilities of any kind arising in connection with his/her participation in the Lucky
Draw, to the extent not prohibited by applicable laws.
2.Each Participant hereby gives LINE Singapore and/or their respective designees permission to use
his/her name, voice, performance, photograph, video, essay, Entry, image and/or likeness for
advertising, publicity and promotional purposes in any and all media, now or hereafter known,
worldwide and on the Internet, and in perpetuity without compensation (to the extent permitted by law)
or additional consents from him/her or any third party and without prior notice, approval or inspection,
and he/she agrees to execute written documents evidencing his/her consent (or any third party’s
consent) to such use if asked to do so.
3. LINE Singapore may at its sole discretion modify these terms and conditions make prize
substitutions or cancel this Lucky Draw without prior notice to any person. Any prizes won or accepted
shall be given out on an “as it is” basis and are not exchangeable or returnable, and LINE Singapore
expressly disclaims any warranties express or implied in connection with any prizes to the fullest
extent permitted by applicable laws. The prizes may be subject to additional terms and conditions,
and the participant agrees to comply with all terms and conditions applicable to the prizes.
4. LINE Singapore is not responsible or liable for delayed, lost, stolen, incomplete, late or misdirected
entries and submissions caused by any reason whatsoever, including but not limited to service
delays, interruptions, failures or overloads, telephone lines, data plans, and/or postal/internet
services.
5. LINE Singapore reserves the right to vary or modify these Terms and Conditions, or disqualify any
participant or winner, in such manner LINE Singapore deems fit, without giving notice or reason, and
without any liability to the such participant or winner. In particular, no participant shall, or procure
another person to, (i) tamper with the registration process or the operation of the Lucky draw or the
relevant mobile application and website, (ii) participate in the Lucky draw in any manner which creates
or may create an anomaly in the redemption and operating system of the Lucky draw, and/or (iii)
breach these Terms and Conditions, the Computer Misuse Act or any other applicable law or
regulation.
6. LINE Singapore reserves the right to pursue legal action against any person which it believes has
undertaken fraudulent activities or other activities harmful or prejudicial to this Lucky Draw, the entry
submission process or the relevant mobile application and (or) web site.

7. LINE Singapore shall not be liable for damage to a user's phone or computer system in any way
due to a user's participation in the this Lucky Draw or downloading of any information in connection
with the registration, including without limitation any server failure; lost, delayed or corrupted data or
other malfunction.
8. Subject to any government approval which may be required, LINE Singapore reserves the right,
without prior notice and at any time to terminate or cancel the Lucky Draw, in whole or in part, or
modify the Lucky Draw in any way, without liability to any person. If any part of the Rules is held to be
unenforceable or illegal, such illegal or unenforceable part shall be severed from the Rules without
affecting the validity of the remaining Rules.
9. This Lucky Draw and the Terms and Conditions shall be governed by Singapore law and each
participant agrees to submit any claim, dispute or controversy to the exclusive jurisdiction of the
courts of the Republic of Singapore.
10. LINE Singapore reserves the right to reject Entries that it considers (in its sole opinion) are
incorrect, incomplete, suspicious, improper, inappropriate or invalid.
11.
Persons who tamper with, abuse or undermine the integrity of any aspect of the Promotion or
Promotion platform, who act in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner or who violate these terms
and conditions, as solely determined by LINE Singapore, will be disqualified from participation and all
associated Entries will be void. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE THE
PROMOTION OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE PROMOTION MAY BE IN
VIOLATION OF APPLICABLE LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, LINE
Singapore RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES AND OTHER REMEDIES (INCLUDING
ATTORNEYS’ FEES) FROM ANY SUCH INDIVIDUAL TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW,
INCLUDING CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. In the event of a dispute regarding Entries received from
multiple users having the same LINE account, the authorized account subscriber of the LINE account
at the time of Entry will be deemed to be the Participant. The authorized account subscriber is the
natural person who is assigned the LINE account by LINE Singapore.
12. Each Participant agrees that LINE Singapore, and their respective parent companies,
subsidiaries, affiliates, franchisees, prize providers, advertising and promotion agencies, and all of
their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, agents and representatives of the
foregoing (collectively, “Released Parties”) shall not be responsible for any and all injuries, liability,
losses and damages of any kind to persons, including death, or property resulting, in whole or in part,
directly or indirectly, from the Participant’s participation in the Promotion, the acceptance, possession,
use or misuse of any Coupon. Without prejudice to the foregoing, each Participant agrees that
Released Parties are not responsible for and shall not be liable for:
(a)
any technical errors, whether due to inaccessibility of internet network disruption,
network congestion, malicious virus attacks, unauthorized data hacking, data corruption and
server hardware failure or otherwise;
(b)
telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, internet,
server or computer malfunctions, failures, interruptions, miscommunications or difficulties of
any kind, whether human, mechanical or electrical, including, without limitation, the incorrect
or inaccurate capture of entry information online;
(c)
late, lost, delayed, misdirected, incomplete, illegible or unintelligible transmissions or
communications;
(d)
failed, incomplete, lost, garbled, jumbled, interrupted, unavailable or delayed
transmissions or communications;
(e)
any condition caused by events beyond the control of a Released Party that may
cause the Promotion to be disrupted or corrupted;

(f)
any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising in connection with or as a result
of the issue, or acceptance, possession, or use of a Coupon, or from participation in the
Promotion; or
(g)
any printing or typographical or other errors in any materials associated with the
Promotion.
13.
By participating in the Promotion, each Participant agrees to release and hold each Released
Party harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection
with the Promotion or resulting from the issue, acceptance, possession, use or misuse of a Coupon,
including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on
publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy.
14.
Released Parties make no warranties, express or implied, in fact or in law, in relation to the
Promotion, or in relation to any Coupon, including, without limitation, their quality or fitness for a
particular purpose.
15.
Should any portion of the Promotion be, in LINE Singapore’s sole opinion, unable to run as
planned, or if the Promotion is compromised by virus, worms, bugs, non-authorized human
intervention, force majeure, or other causes which, in the sole opinion of LINE Singapore, corrupt or
impair the administration, security, fairness or proper running of the Promotion, or submission of
Entries, LINE Singapore reserves the right at its sole discretion to suspend, modify or terminate the
Promotion (or any portion of the Promotion), or disqualify any Entries.
