Gujarat Model of Governance: Lessons and
Future Scope
Two days The 3rd International Conference was organized at Gujarat Technological
University

villages we have to provide road, water, light develop the infrastructure also
provide virtual class, e-gram system, computer system, teacher teach top to

He also explained three Guans and four Purushartha. He said all values of
Dharma come from self. Dharma is the natural law. He also said that when
villages products are marketed in India than India become a rich.
GTU 3rd International Conference on Gujarat model of Governance: Lessons
and Future Scope was inaugurated at GTU Auditorium, Chandkheda,
Ahmedabad by. Mr C.S.R Prabhu, Director General of National Informatics
Centre (NIC) New Delhi (Retd). GTU has established 14 Post Graduate Research
Centres, which are designed to work as examples of good and relevant
research. The centres are work as catalysts for infusing the spirit of innovation
and research in the Colleges through multi-Colleges joint research projects and
by actively involving postgraduate students in research, development and
consultancy projects. GTU has started working as a Monitor for Good
Governance, which will make it possible to objectively determine how well the
governance systems are working.
Dr. Akshai Aggarwal Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, Gujarat Technological University
welcomed all. He said that in India have number of colleges so we have to
trying to working on the Research. To doing a research in incubator, Ayurvedic
medicine area. We have push idea in our student for research. The master
students not have to only book knowledge also we have to read Paper,
journals. MBA is global program it is not limited up to the syllabus but it is wide
program where we have to create new idea. We have to think and produce
new idea for that we have to read new paper. We have to create program
where students and faculty to do work hard. He also said that the purpose of
this conference is Research.
Dr.Ashok Bathan Executive Director, ACEAS Clinical Research, Chairman,
Independent Ethics Committee explained the major medical aspect of
Government. He told about health department core function we have to
provide primary, secondary and tertian healthcare, Promote AUSH assumption
to modern system. He said the indicators of health-UNICEF India census 2011
showed a slight improvement in the child sex ratio (0-6 years) from 883 in 2001
to 886 today. Infant and maternal mortality rates have road, air, outbreaks of
infection. Population explosion also explained life style disease like
hypertension, diabetes mellitus, obesity, heart attacks, mental illness, and
brain attack. He said that over 1.37,000 people killed in road accident in 2013.
Prof. Bharat C. Dalal Honorary Director, Centre for Governance Systems, GTU
gives vote of thank and said that we have to make Governance as Good
Governance.
