1st Emergency HEC Meeting Minutes
The 1st Emergency HEC meeting was held in TV Room on 1st May 2015. It was an
open meeting which scheduled to start at 07:00 PM but it was started at 07:20 PM.
The meeting chairman was Warden In-charge and President. The meeting ended at
08:45 PM. There were approximately 40 people came in this meeting to discuss the
issue. The attendance list of HEC members is attached in Annexure 1. The
following agenda item was discussed and reported below.
Agenda-1: Discussion on Canteen Issue.
HEC and all GBM which were present in the meeting have commonly agreed to
the following points:
1. The termination of the canteen owner contract will be on hold but if found
faulty again (within one month) then termination will be activated.
2. In this period we will take the survey of canteen. The committee for the
survey will be formed very soon but any residents of hall must visit the
canteen if found anything wrong than take photograph of that and send to
canteen secretary.
3. HEC has issued a letter of continuation of canteen until tendering on 29th
April 2015 but Mr. Ramkumar Yadav has refused to take this letter and
refused the request of President and Canteen Secretary for opening of
canteen.
4. If again he is not willing to take the charge of canteen then HEC will take
very strict action on this owner and we will look for any other campus
canteen personnel to start canteen on temporarily basis.
5. The Canteen owner has to follow all the terms and conditions written in the
contract from the day one of the reopening of the canteen which was also
pointed out in warning letter issued on 16th April 2015 attached in Annexure

2 and also by our Warden In-charge on 1st Oct 2014 after allotting of tender
attached in Annexure 3.
6. Canteen Secretary will also ask for written commitment from owner
regarding the cook and workers as per the terms and conditions of cantract.
