Between Indian Trail Animal Hospital and Vet-REC:
Veterinary Rehabilitation and Exercise Clinic, we have 3
veterinarians and a wonderful support staff with a wealth of
knowledge to share. Our camp director is a trusted educator that will have fun arts, crafts, games, and activities for
our campers in both small and large group settings. Each
day will include rotations through various areas in the
hospital or rehabilitation clinic with hands on experience
available and presentations by variety of guest speakers.

Observe physical examinations

Learn basic anatomy

Initial registration fee is applied to camp balance.

Initial registration fee is non-refundable.

No refund of any fees if cancellation within 2 weeks of program start date.

Refund of payment beyond the initial registration fee can be

(but initial $100 registration fee is non-refundable).

An In-Depth Study of Veterinary Medicine
Join us for an exciting day in learning about the unique
needs of all types of baby animals from chickens to kittens.
Returning Campers will have an in-depth look at

My daughter learned a lot and was
excited to go back each day. She has
said she wanted to be a veterinarian
from the time she was 3. Attending this
camp just reinforced to her that goal.
Veterinary Surgery:
For the older crowd, we will get an in-depth look at the
veterinary surgery ward. We will experience the
preparation, safety, anesthesia, and suturing of animals.
This will culminate in observation of surgical procedures
with the veterinarian. An on-site veterinarian will allow
the students to guide their learning experience.

Had a wonderful time with hands on
activities such as brushing teeth, cleaning ears,
petting, etc.
session, they will learn First Aid procedures as
well as the signs and symptoms of sick and
healthy pets. Campers will learn about other
animal careers and species exposure. We will see
many exotic animal habitats and learn how to
care for them. A Veterinarian will be present for
questions and guidance for campers and will
allow them to ‘Solve The Mystery’.
This will be an exciting day to welcome our
friends back to camp.
