Training and Assessment is already considered a

qualification TAE40110 is currently the standard
for anyone wanting to become a qualified trainer.
This Training and Assessment course will teach a
myriad of training and assessment activities,
including how to design and develop learning
programs, use training packages and accredited
courses to meet client needs, and how to plan,
organise and deliver group-based learning, as well
as how to facilitate learning in the workplace.
Additionally, you will learn many facets of
assessment activities and processes.
TAE40110 can help you take that next, inspiring
career move, assisting you in passing the valuable
skills and knowledge you have acquired across your
lifetime to others!
Upcoming industry changes will see the
TAELLN411 - Address Adult Language, Literacy,
and Numeracy Skills unit included in the new (yet
to be released) Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment. This means that all trainers will
eventually be required to hold the TAELLN411
unit or equivalent. - Right now, you can add on
the TAELLN411 to your Certificate IV TAE from
$190^ and be ready for the upcoming changes.

studies in the Certificate IV in Training and

Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL)
Inspire will give you credit from your teaching/supervisory
experience (via RPL) towards your new TAE40110 Certificate
IV in Training and Assessment. Teachers have some units
which they can RPL across to the new TAE40110. As a result,
learner’s professional experience can gain you a greater
number of credits towards your new TAE40110 qualification.
RPL is offered to any Learner who can provide
evidence of competency for the units offered within
this qualification. This can include any previous training
(formal or informal) of previous life or work experience. The
RPL process is really straightforward, simply indicate on your
enrolment form that you would like to apply for RPL and once
your enrolment is confirmed, you will receive an RPL pack to
help with evidence collection. Your trainer will also call to go
through any potential RPL opportunities you may have.

Upgrade Process
Cert IV TAE Fast Track for Teachers
!
You may be able to gain up to 3 units (or more if your teaching experience
allows) towards your new TAE40110 based on your teaching/supervisory
experience and if your teaching experience is current.
Once you have enrolled the upgrade process is simple:
1)
Our RPL/upgrade specialist will be in contact with you regarding our TAE RPL process.
2)
Submit your completed RPL Application kit which will include:

A copy of your teaching qualification listing year of completion.

A copy of your current Teachers Registration.

Evidence of teaching currency to demonstrate your teaching experience is up-todate.

Any other relevant evidence to support your RPL claim in line with the requirements
listed within the RPL Application kit.

Complete the remaining units via distance education/online study.
School Teachers can typically seek Recognition of Prior Learning for the following
3 TAE40110 Units:
TAEDEL401A— Plan, organise and deliver group-based learning
TAEDEL301A – Provide work skill instruction
BSBCMM401A – Make a presentation
In addition if you have further evidence of supervisory experience in the workplace, you may
also be eligible to be recognised for the following imported elective giving a possible 4 units
out of the 10 TAE units required for this qualification;
BSBLED401A – Develop teams and individuals
