Feinstein Foundation Appeal
March 1 through April 30, 2015
Every year Mom’s House of Lancaster has the opportunity to participate
in the Feinstein Foundation’s Money for the Hungry event. In 1996 Alan
Shawn Feinstein, the founder first sought out to eliminate hunger in
Massachusetts public school now has branched out to a worldwide effort not just for public schools but for many public services. March 1
through April 30 every dollar Mom’s House raises the foundation will
enhance to alleviate hunger giving the children at
Mom’s House more money for nutritious meals.
If you would like to help Mom’s House in our
Feinstein Appeal, simply note “Feinstein Appeal on your next donation during March 1
through April 30. That way children like
Ayanna have access to quality childcare and
nutritious meals while at Mom’s House.

new smiling faces aboard!
Mom’s House is pleased to announce the newest additions to
our staff. As you know Mom’s
House is filled with loving qualified professionals that represent
Mom’s Houses mission and philosophy. You can read more
about our newest staff members
on page 2.
Since 2008 Mom’s House has
been very honored to be the recipient of the Abby’s Foundation
Grant, and this year is no different! Thank you
Abby’s
Foundation!
Meet the Staff!
Lisa Tully joined us as our new Program Director in September. She brings to us
over twenty-five years of experience working with children. She taught early childhood and elementary school in Ohio. She and her family moved here seven years
ago and most of that time she has worked as a Childcare Director. Lisa has her
Bachelors in Elementary Education and her Masters in Early Childhood Intervention. She is currently working on earning her Directors Credentials. When Lisa is
not at work, she is very involved with her church where her husband serves as the
Pastor. She and her husband have recently become empty nesters so they hope to have more time to
read and travel. Lisa looks to her new position not just as a job, but as a ministry.
Sarah Stanley is one of the newest additions to Mom’s House, we welcome her
as our Infant Room Teacher. Sarah has a fun spirit and a passion for our mission.
She graduated from Solanco High School, in the class of 2012 and now attends
HACC courses to earn her CDA (Child Development Associate credential). Sarah
enjoys reading, writing, listening to her favorite bands and spending time with her
closest friends in her free time. Miss Sarah is overjoyed to have the opportunity to
work here at Mom’s House and hopes to learn much more about the field of child
care in the years to come.
Sara Moyer joins on as the Executive Director. Sara has a deep rooted connection
to Mom’s House. Over a decade ago she was a former mom. She was a junior in
high school when she had her first child and was preparing to drop out of high
school, when someone told her about Mom’s House. Not only did Sara graduate
high school with the support of Mom’s House she went onto receive her college
degree. She has always stayed connected to Mom’s House by volunteering, speaking at events and serving on the Board of Directors. Now she has the opportunity to
apply her corporate knowledge and give back to the organization that gave her family so much.

Keystone Stars
Mom’s House is proud to be a Keystone
STARS level 3 center! There are currently only 23 daycare centers in all of
Lancaster County that currently holds
a level 3 with Keystone Stars.
We offer quality Early Learning Programs to prepare
our young children to be successful in school just like
their mommies and daddies are trying to do here at
Mom’s House. Keystone Stars evaluates our staff
education, learning environment, leadership/
management and family/community partnerships.
