Holy Week Schedule
Confession Monday—March 30:
Next Sunday is Palm Sunday and the start of Holy
Week. Following Palm Sunday is Confession Monday: confessions will be heard from 4:00 to 8:00 pm in
all Churches in the Archdiocese of New York, including Orange County. So if you would rather not go to
MPB, then St. Mary’s in Montgomery is an option, or
Infant Savior, etc. A healthy Spiritual Life includes
participating in the Sacrament of Confession a few
times a year, but absolutely at least once a year. There
will be flyers in the church, on the table in the center
aisle, to help prepare for the sacrament as well as the
words we use in the sacrament.
Now, in addition to Confession Monday – there is
also Holy Thursday and Good Friday. We need men
for the washing of feet for Holy Thursday, it’s not that
difficult and so we are looking for – a few good men.

name and phone number.
This Sunday is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in
Wallkill, always a fun celebration. Included in the
Line of March is MPB School as well as the Knights of
Columbus.
Camp Veritas is still taking registrations for summer camp for grades 7-12. What a great experience!

Chrism Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral
Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at 4:00 p.m.
Bus leaves Sacred Heart Newburgh Parking Lot, Tuesday at
11:00 and returns from the Cathedral at 6:30.
To reserve a seat call Sacred Heart rectory at 561-2264.
The charge for the bus is $25 per person payable by
Friday, March 27.
12 Men needed for Holy Thursday Mass
On Holy Thursday, April 2nd we imitate Christ who
washed the feet of the Apostles; during the Mass 12
men who represent the 12 Disciples will have their
right foot washed. Those men interested in
volunteering should call the rectory at 778-5719.
The Church is open every day from 8:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.. All
are welcome to spend some time in quiet prayer and reflection.
