For some groups the minimum age is 21 years, provided extra payment per day is settled. • Following are the documents required for a car pick-up: prepaid voucher, valid passport, driver’s license, and major credit card (American Express, Visa, Master Card) to be used when paying for additional charges not included in the rental agreement (rental extension, refueling, etc.) • Driver’s License: All persons who intend to drive the vehicle have to be in possession of a valid driver’s license, previously held for minimum of one year. Polish or international driver’s license is required . International driver’s license can be obtained from the automobile club for a nominal fee. The international driver’s license is not a valid document by itself; it has to be presented together with a foreign license. • Additional drivers may be added to the rental agreement at an extra charge (please advise at the time of booking) INSURANCE* 3 3 4 4 5 PER DAY (8 & MORE) SEATS C PEUGEOT 206 FIAT PUNTO, SEAT IBIZA RENAULT THALIA RENAULT MEGAN RENO MEGAN KOMBI A PER WEEK (6-7 DAYS) MAKE AND MODEL DOORS A rental day is any 24-hour period from the commencement of the rental. On the final day, travelers have a 59-minute “grace” period to return the car without being charged for an extra rental day. Additional day rates, computed at the local rate, are usually higher than the reserved rate. For this reason, if the return time is in doubt, we recommend reserving an extra day before departure. It is very important that the vehicle will be returned not later than agreed location. If plans change, the renter needs to verify with the renting location that this change of plans can be authorized. Early return may not provide savings: In case of an early return a refund may not necessarily apply. Prepayment for one week and return after six days will not result in a rate change. RATES INCLUDE unlimited mileage, VAT, hospitality service at the airport, oil, maintenance, public liability insurance. RATES ARE EXCLUSIVE of parking and fuel costs. At pick-up, the rental company will require a credit card as a deposit to cover a full tank of fuel. When the car is returned to the rental company at the end of the rental , the credit card account will be credited less the cost of refueling service. All cars use unleaded gasoline (benzyna bezolowiowa). The current gasoline price is about $1.65 per liter (1 gallon = 3.78 liters). Please note that not all gas stations accept credit cards. GROUP RENTAL DAYS & EXTRA HOURS PER DAY (3-5 DAYS) RENTAL CONDITIONS PER DAY (1-2 DAYS) CAR RENTALS A/C A/C A/C A/C A/C A/C A/C A/C A/C kombi A/C A/C A/C ONLY CARS IN GROUP D HAVE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION! ALL RESAEVATIONS WILL BE CONFIRMED BY GROUP ONLY! * COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER & THEFT PROTECTION PER DAY INSURANCE: • Public liability insurance is included in the rental charges. • Collision Damage Waiver (CDW). The renter is responsible for damages caused to the rented vehicle (including fire), regardless of fault. For a nominal fee the renter may waive this financial responsibility (less deductible of $275/groups A&B; $549/other groups) by accepting the optional Collision Damage Waiver offered by the rental company. This service fee (not an insurance) waives the renter’s responsibility for as long as the vehicle is operated by authorized drivers and under the terms of the rental agreement. Coverage offered by credit card companies may not apply for all types of cards offered by issuing company. The coverage may not apply for all car classes and may be restricted in the rental periods covered. The policies require that the rental is paid for by that particular card. To take advantage of credit card coverage the renter has to decline the optional coverage offered by the rental company. In case of damages, the renter has to settle all charges directly with the rental company at that time and file for reimburse- 28 ment from the provider of the coverage after return. This process will include the completion of forms providing documentation such as police report and repair invoices and will have to be completed within a specific time frame. Before deciding to decline the acceptance of Collision Damage Waiver the renter should carefully investigate all requirements applicable directly with credit card company. • Theft Protection. The renter is also responsible for the cost of repairing or replacing the rented vehicle in case of theft or vandalism. An optional Theft Protection is offered to limit this responsibility to the deductible of $ 366. TP also provides coverage against theft of damage of the personal belongings of the renter and passengers while they are locked in the car during the rental. All other points covered under Collision Damage Waiver apply. • Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) is not available. Therefore ORBIS strongly recommends purchase of our optional travel insurance.
