PHDA ADULT DEVELOPMENT “BRING A BUDDY” LEARN TO PLAY HOCKEY The Adult Learn to Play, as part of the Pelham Hockey Development Academy (PHDA), is designed to introduce the game of Hockey to new Adult players and develop existing Adult Hockey players. Each Adult who introduces a new registrant will receive 50% off registration fees. We will focus on skill acquisition, rules knowledge, tactics and techniques needed to allow adults the ability to enjoy Hockey to its fullest. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS: Open to Men and Woman 18 years of age and older Learn and acquire the basic fundamentals of Hockey and develop as player Full equipment encouraged (Helmet with cage, gloves, stick and skates mandatory) Skill focus will be on Skating (balance, edges, turning, stopping, agility and coordination) Game concepts (rules, etiquette, chalk talk etc.) Qualified and Certified USA Hockey Coaches Instruction FUN, SAFE and ENCOURAGING environment for all players regardless of experience SCHEDULE, DATES AND TIMES: Adult Learn to Play Hockey/Development is a six (6) week program taking place (All sessions 7:15pm-8:15pm) Wednesday May 13th, 2015 – Wednesday June 17th, 2015. REGISTRATION: 6 week fee is $100.00 (50% off for all who “Bring a Buddy”) and registration can be completed by contacting the Pelham Civic Complex at 205.621.2639.
