Guests at Lutsen this year will be greeted with a new
state-of-the-art, eight passenger gondola. The
expansive windows and stunning views make this a
‘must do’ experience on every visit. New in 2016 is a
handicapped accessible interpretive trail to a series of
vistas. Those looking for a longer trek can take the
Summit Spur Trail to the Superior Hiking Trail for a
four-mile return to the gondola base through Superior
National Forest and over the Poplar River.

SUMMER THRILL
The Alpine Slide offers fun that the whole family will
enjoy. After a leisurely chairlift ride to the summit
of Eagle Mountain, you hop on a sled and cruise
down an exhilarating half-mile course where you
control the speed from top to bottom.
