For a Mass Intention you will need: - Who the Mass is for, whom the Mass is requested by, the date you would like the Mass, and a $15 stipend for each Mass requested. For a Sanctuary Candle request you will need: - Who the Candle is being lit for, whom the candle is requested by, the week you would like the candle lit, and a $10 stipend for each week requested. Requests can be made for special occasions for living people such as anniversaries, graduations, birthdays, and other occasions as well. If you have any special dates that you would like to request, please get them requests in early to ensure that we are able to schedule on, or around, that special date. Admission will include dinner, games, crafts and prizes and will be $10 per child, $5 per adult with a maximum of $50 per immediate family. Instead of the carnival format from previous years, there will be several games and activity stations that you can do as a family or as individuals. Some of the stations include: sand art, crafts and creative activities, remote control truck course, carnival type games for ages 3 and up, face painting and more! Everyone gets their choice of pizza or a hot do with fruit, animal crackers, ice cream and a drink. To make it to the prize table, participants will need to fill up their passport by completing the stations! LEADERSHIP MEETING: Anyone who would like to lend a hand for this years evening is welcome to a meeting THIS TUESDAY JANUARY 20th 2015 at 7pm in the Parish Hall. GAME MINI RAFFLE: We are looking for donations of board games, cards, activities, game-type things for a small mini-raffle. World Meeting of Families The World Meeting of Families (WMOF), the world’s largest Catholic gathering of families, will be held in Philadelphia, September 22-27. Held every three years and sponsored by the Vatican’s Pontifical Council for the Family, each WMOF has a theme that energizes and enlivens the event while adding great depth of meaning to our understanding of families. The theme is “Love is Our Mission: The Family Fully Alive”. Families and individuals from the Diocese of Buffalo interested in attending are encouraged to make their travel plans now. Please note: Pope Francis will attend the closing ceremonies of the World Meeting of Families, September 25-27. Faith Formation Children’s Liturgy Next Sunday at 9am All students in Grades 3 and 4 are expected to participate in the Children’s Liturgy at the 9am Mass on Sunday January 18th. January Faith Formation Classes Grades 1-6: 18th, and 25th Grades 7-10: 18th Grades 1-6 meet from 9:55-10:55am. The 7-10th grade classes meet from 12:15-1:45pm.
