Säkerhetsföreskrifter
A.
Tillse att in- och utlopp inte är fritt exponerade så att det
inte är möjligt för servicepersonal att
av misstag komma åt
slussens rotor.
B.
Vid servicearbeten på rotorn måste säkerhetsbrytare avstängas
samt mekaniskt säkra drivningen.
Före start
C.
Tillse att fickan ovanför slussen är fri från främmande
föremål som kan ramla ned i rotorn och förorsaka stopp och
skador på slussen.
D.
Kontrollera att slussen roterar åt rätt håll.
E.
Montera slussen rätt beträffande in- och utlopp.Inloppet
täcker rotorns gavlar.
Skötsel
Regelbunden översyn utföres med intervaller som bestäms erfarenhetsmässigt,och varierar med typ av stoft och totala drifttiden.
Generellt kan man dock säga att översyn skall ske en gång årligen.
F.
Kontrollera slitaget på de justerbara bladen på rotor.
När spelet uppgår till ca 1 mm mellan rotorbladen och huset
rekommenderas justering(tillåtet spel varierar från fall till fall)
Demontering av rotorn
Montera av drivenheten genom att skruva bort de fyra skruvarna
på motorfästet.Dra loss drivenhet med fäste.
Ta ut de fyra fästskruvarna för gaveln.
Två av dessa skruvar används i de två gängade hålen och
används som avdragare.Nu kan rotorn dras ut.

Ensure that the inlets and outlets are protected by the feed and
discharge ducting/trunking or other handling equipment so that it is
not possible for operators or maintenance personnel to get
hands/fingers or any part ot their body close to the point where the
rotor is moving
If attention to the rotor for inspection,cleaning or other purpuse
is necessary.The supply to the gearmotor drive must be isolated
and "locked out" to prevent accidental motor start up.
Check list before running
C.
Before running the valve the approach equipment e.g.hopper,
ducting,screw feeder etc,should be thoroughly cleansed and
checked to be free of foreign matter as serious damage can be done
to the valve internals.Weld spatter,weld rod ends,bolts,wood,
etc.,are regular problems.
D.
Ensure rotation of rotor in arrow direktion.
E.
Ensure that the valve is regular installed regarding inlet and
outlet.The inlet is covering the gabels of the rotor.
General Maintenance
It is recommended that the complete Rotary Valve is dismantled forcleaning inspection and overhaul as necessary at regular intervals.
The intervals between such routine overhauls will vary between the
product being handled and total operation time.To a large degree
the rate of wear for a particular application would be assessed by
practical experiance.

Check the wear of the adjustible tips on the rotor.
When the clearance between the rotor ond body is about 1 mm
adjusting is recommended (Accetable clearance is varying)
Rotor Removal
Remove the drive by unscrewing the four M 8 screw on the motor
bracket.Remove the drive and bracket.
With two of these setscrews insert in jacking holes and jack off
the end cover.Now remove the rotor.
