The ,,Tulpės” medical SPA is the first treatment facility that began in Birštonas and it has long lasting traditions
of treatment with mineral water and healing mud. ,,Tulpės” medical SPA uses ,,Vytautas” and ,,Vaidilutė” mineral
water for treatment. They are especially effective for treatment of certain circulatory, respiratory, digestive, neural,
articular, and gynaecological diseases. Mineral water baths (chloride- bromide, sodium, potassium, calcium)are
used for healing purposes. Due to their effect muscles relax, vascular spasms are repressed, cardiac activity and
neuroregulative body functions improve. Mineral water “Vytautas” is used for drinking. When drunk, it regulates
secretion of gastric juices, acidity, improves stomach activity. It stimulates the formation of bile and its drift to
duodenum, improves biophysical features and biochemical composition of bile, functions of liver and intestine. We
treat the following problems in „Tulpės“ sanatorium -troubles in digestive system, movement and backbone system

Palanga – sea and sun, summer capital of fun!

Neringa – the pearl of Lithuania and Europe, the Mecca for artists, and the oasis of
recreation for the tired ones. Sand dunes with the rare vegetation, seashore forest with
hundred year-old trees and mountain pines planted by the hands of people, white

Even thoe Neringa is primarily a summer resort, there are always plenty of events and

There are several different exploratory tracks in Neringa that are perfect for relaxing

You can rent a bike for just a couple of hours or several days in any settlement and
take a ride on a cycling path that is going along all the resort and is one of the longest
cycling paths in Lithuania.
Extreme sports have found their right place in Neringa. Stunt kites, Windsurfing
boards became an inseparable part of landscape of this region as well as Blokarts that
turn into Ice-Blokarts surfing along frozen Curonian lagoon in winter.

Welcome to Zarasai! We the people of Zarasai, believe that, although drawn here for
different reason, we are all vital to the town, and we were proud to celebrate its 500th
anniversary in 2006. At that time we showed that the years rushing in on the waves of
lake Zarasas had not managed to wash away the memories of those hundreds of years…

An oasis of peace and calm
Anykščiai land promoted by famous writers, attracts tourists not only from Lithuania
but also from abroad. Anykščiai is a cradle of the Lithuanian literature. The literature
heritage of the town is complemented and expanded by the geographic environment
of the region and a large number of cultural objects. There is a famous stone Puntukas in the western part of Anykščiai forest, the second largest stone in Lithuania. The
Šeimyniškėliai mound has a glorious history, there was a palace of the first Lithuanian king Mindaugas. The town is known for the narrow gauge railway. In autumn
2009 the railway celebrated its 110 years anniversary. It is one of the most interesting
technical heritage objects in Lithuania.
Leisure and entertainment: Mountain Ski centre „Kalita“ invites to ski. Here you can
try an exiting feeling in attraction of summer sleigh. The swimming pool „The Oasis
of Health“ offers a variety of water activities and different types of sauna and baths
pleasures. There is also possibility to play paintball, to shoot archery, to drive carts in
rally conditions, to ride a horse. You will be able to bake bread in the old house and
to taste different kinds of wine in the wine factory of Anykščiai. You are welcome to

Ignalina biases for rest and peace. It‘s the country of lakes and forests. Amazing beauty
localities are attractive for them, witch are interested in naturale nature, fishing, water
entertainment, tourism hikes with boats, bikes, winter sport, flying or quiet rest in
rural farmsteads.
The country of Ignalina has more then 200 lakes, few tens of rivers and ponds. District has most of the Aukštaitija national park territory, also even fourteen regional
parks and different reserves.
Ignalina has good conditions to spend purposeful freetime for all seasons: it has SPA

here billiards, bowling. The city has modern stadium, tennis-court, sport grounds.
