Ted & Heidi Cruz and the North American Union

Anyone who simply wants to anoint Ted Cruz as the next great conservative, without first vetting him, is part of the problem we have in this country, at least
in my humble opinion. Those of us who refuse to admit that we have been fooled before are simply in denial. For the record I like Ted Cruz. I do, however,
have some questions about him including his eligibility. A couple of weeks ago we ran a never before seen interview with Cruz in which he clearly stated that
Heidi’s involvement with the Council on Foreign Relations was a matter of her joining as a voice of dissent. After reading the below article you can decide

Is Ted Cruz an advocate of a North American Union?

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) met his wife, Heidi
(née Nelson), while working on the George W.
Bush presidential campaign of 2000. Heidi Cruz
is currently head of the Southwest Region in the
Investment Management Division of Goldman, Sachs
& Co. and previously worked in the White House for
Condoleezza Rice and in New York as an investment
banker for J.P. Morgan. Wikipedia lists Heidi Nelson
Cruz as an “investment banker” and a “historical
member” of the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR).
Heidi Cruz was a member of the CFR-sponsored
Independent Task Force on the Future of North
America, which was launched in October 2004. The
Task Force advocates a greater economic and social
integration between Canada, Mexico, and the United
States as a North American region.
Comprised of a group of prominent business,
political and academic leaders from the U.S., Canada
and Mexico, the Task Force was organized and sponsored by the Council on Foreign Relations (U.S.),
the Canadian Council of Chief Executives, and
the Mexican Council on Foreign Relations. It was
co-chaired by former Canadian Deputy Prime Minister
and Minister of Finance, John Manley, former Finance
Minister of Mexico, Pedro Aspe, and former Governor
of Massachusetts and Assistant U.S. Attorney General
William F. Weld.
Its main publication is the 70-page Task Force
Report #53 entitled, Building a North American
Community (May 2005). Heidi Cruz is listed as a
member of the Task Force (page 9 of the report in PDF)
and described as “an energy investment banker with
Merrill Lynch in Houston, Texas” who “served in the
Bush White House under Dr. Condoleezza Rice as the
Economic Director for the Western Hemisphere at the
National Security Council, as the Director of the Latin
America Office at the U.S. Treasury Department, and
as Special Assistant to Ambassador Robert B. Zoellick,
U.S. Trade Representative.”
The Report’s recommendations include:
1. ESTABLISH A COMMON SECURITY
PERIMETER BY 2010
“The governments of Canada, Mexico, and the United
States should articulate as their long-term goal a
common security perimeter for North America. In
particular, the three governments should strive toward
a situation in which a terrorist trying to penetrate our
borders will have an equally hard time doing so, no
matter which country he elects to enter first.”
2. DEVELOP A NORTH AMERICAN BORDER
PASS
“The three countries should develop a secure North
American Border Pass with biometric identifiers. This
document would allow its bearers expedited passage
through customs, immigration, and airport security
throughout the region.”
3. DEVELOP A UNIFIED NORTH AMERICAN
BORDER ACTION PLAN
Specific recommendations under this plan include:
• “Harmonize visa and asylum regulations, including convergence of the list of “visa waiver’’
countries;
• Harmonize entry screening and tracking procedures for people, goods, and vessels (including
integration of name-based and biometric watch
lists);
• By 2010, “Lay the groundwork for the freer
flow of people within North America. The three
governments should commit themselves to the
long-term goal of dramatically diminishing the
need for the current intensity of the governments’
physical control of cross-border traffic, travel, and
trade within North America. A long-term goal
for a North American border action plan should
be . . . the elimination of most controls over the
temporary movement of these travelers within
North America.“
4. LAW ENFORCEMENT AND MILITARY
COOPERATION
“Security cooperation among the three countries
should also extend to cooperation on counterterrorism
and law enforcement, which would include the establishment of a trinational threat intelligence center, the
development of trinational ballistics and explosives
registration, and joint training for law enforcement
officials.”
Note: Now I’m beginning to “get” why U.S. police
departments are hiring non-US citizens as officers!
5. SPREAD THE BENEFITS OF ECONOMIC
DEVELOPMENT
“NAFTA has transformed Mexico, but it has also
deepened and made much more visible the divisions that exist in the country…. The gap in wages
has led many Mexicans to travel north in search of
higher incomes and better opportunities. For the past
three decades, Mexico has been the largest source of
legal immigrants to the United States, and MexicanAmericans make increasingly valued and growing
contributions to the life of the United States and,
through remittances, to their families at home. Mexico
is also the leading source of unauthorized migration,
with attendant economic and security problems in
both countries and untold hardships for Mexican
migrants. Over time, the best way to diminish these
problems is by promoting better economic opportunities in Mexico.”
Note: In other words, more socialist “spread the
wealth”!

Muslims Have to Be ‘Schizophrenic’
to Love Free Society
Carson: GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson
said Tuesday Muslims who follow Sharia law have to be
"schizophrenic" to integrate into a free society.
Carson was interviewed on "Breitbart News
Daily," where he was asked by host Stephen K. Bannon
if "Sharia-adherent" Muslims could "actually
be part of a society and integrate into a
society where you have the rule of law
and you are a democratic republic."
"Only if they're schizophrenic,"
Carson answered. "I don't see how
they're gonna do it otherwise because
you'd have two different philosophies
boring at you in contradiction to one
another. So, that would be difficult."
Carson said he disagrees with
former President George W. Bush's
assessment that Islam is a "religion of
peace."
"If you accept all the components
of Islam, including Sharia, then it is
not a religion of peace, it is a religion
of domination," Carson said.
Many people agree with Bush, he
said, "because they bought into it."
He suggested listeners read up on
Islam's founder, Muhammad, and how
his religious philosophy developed.
"To me it's just somebody who lived
a life who is in no way comparable to
Jesus Christ," Carson said.

WHY MOST POLITICIANS LIE
The part of our being that directs
our words and deeds is the part that God
called the ‘soul’.
It is commonly agreed that the soul
is comprised of the mind, the emotion
and the will; thus, without a soul, man
would not be able to think, speak or act,
unless some outside force controlled
him like a robot.
Therefore it follows that when the
scripture speaks of the heart of man, it is
actually speaking of the soul, or man’s
mind, emotion and will, the three of
which operate in concert to direct man
in all of his ways.
Jeremiah 17:9 says, “The heart is
deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?”
By this we know that man is naturally bent toward wickedness; this, in
order to preserve himself and to obtain
all that supports and delights him, even
if that process demands that he act at
the expense of everything around him.
Romans 8:5-7 declares, “For they
that are after the flesh do mind the things
of the flesh; but they that are after the
Spirit the things of the Spirit.
6 For to be carnally minded is
death; but to be spiritually minded is
life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity
against God: for it is not subject to the
law of God, neither indeed can be.
8 So then they that are in the flesh
cannot please God.”
By this we know that our ‘carnal
minds’ continually war against God and
His guidance. As much as we may want
to please God, our natural man will, in
spite of himself, take the easy way and
lie, if needed, to obtain position, wealth,
comfort and other desirable things.
Proverbs 16:24-26 reveals,
“Pleasant words are as an honeycomb,
sweet to the soul, and health to the
bones.
25 There is a way that seemeth right
unto a man, but the end thereof are the
ways of death.
26 He that laboureth laboureth for
himself; for his mouth craveth it of him.”
Yes, left to himself, man will lie,
cheat and steal for the comforts of life.
Then, what are we to do, that we
might walk uprightly before God?
1 Corinthians 2:7- 16 “We speak the
wisdom of God in a mystery, even the
hidden wisdom, which God ordained
before the world unto our glory:
8 Which none of the princes of this
world knew: for had they known it,
they would not have crucified the Lord
of glory.
9 But as it is written, Eye hath
not seen, nor ear heard, neither have
entered into the heart of man, the things
which God hath prepared for them that
love him.
10 But God hath revealed them
unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit
searcheth all things, yea, the deep
things of God.
11 For what man knoweth the things
of a man, save the spirit of man which
is in him? even so the things of God
knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.
12 Now we have received, not the
spirit of the world, but the spirit which
is of God; that we might know the things
that are freely given to us of God.
13 Which things also we speak,
not in the words which man’s wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost
teacheth; comparing spiritual things
with spiritual.
14 But the natural man receiveth not
the things of the Spirit of God: for they
are foolishness unto him: neither can he
know them, because they are spiritually
discerned.
15 But he that is spiritual judgeth
all things, yet he himself is judged of
no man.
16 For who hath known the mind of
the Lord, that he may instruct him? but
we have the mind of Christ.”
The scripture is clear, only the spirit
of God reveals the truth. The Holy Ghost
is the only source of the truth, for the
Holy Ghost is the spirit of truth.
John 16:13 cleary reveals the direction to honesty. “Howbeit when he, the
Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide
you into all truth: for he shall not speak
of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear,
that shall he speak: and he will shew you
things to come.”
The reason politicians lie to get their
way is clear, They are not operating in
the Spirit of Truth.
In order to walk in truth one must
be full of, and operate in the Holy
Ghost. It is not enough to be filled with
the Holy Ghost, WE MUST ALLOW
THE HOLY GHOST TO DOMINATE
OUR THOUGHTS, WORDS AND
ACTIONS. - Put on the Mind of Christ!

I will preface this article by stating that I am not a Donald Trump
supporter. Nor do I currently support Cruz or any other candidate at
this time.
No, I am not going to smash or
bash Donald Trump. Nobody needs
my help for that but I do want to talk
about a relative trend.
I’m a social media addict. I like
to observe trends and follow people
who have pretty insightful things to
say. I also follow a few people in my
business network who sometimes,
more often than not, do not have
anything to say.
One of the trends I have seen
recently is a lot of twisting of
words coming from Mr. Donald
Trump. For instance, he never said
he wanted to ban immigration. He
said we needed to put a hold on it for
now until we can figure out what is
going on. A policy put in place, by
the way, by the democrats during
WWII. This is the first “twist” I saw
by his opponents.
Then I see other posts referring
to the likes of what he said in 2000
compared with what he said in 2015.
To me, what he said in 2000 is a lot
less relevant than what he says now.
Completely irrelevant? No, but less
for sure.
People change. I am living
proof of that myself. There was a
time when I would have sworn that
I never would call myself anything
but a Republican. I have to be honest
with you. I don’t like that tag anymore. I’ve been extremely disappointed in the Republican Party for
years. We have had freedoms ripped
from us since 9/11. I’m inclined to
write about that in a future article
and just might do so.
We have two established parties,
the Democratic and the Republican.
Someone recently said they were
two different wings to the same
bird. I think that is a pretty accurate
description.
So people do change. I did a
little research and found out that
since the year 2000 over 113 elected
officials switched parties. A lot of
people over the years have switched
from being pro-murder to pro-life.
Trump not too long ago gave his
personal reasons as to why he is now
pro-life when he wasn’t before.
So people change. I have no
problem with that. I do have a
problem with someone like Hillary
Clinton who has been a consistent
and proven liar during her entire
political career.
I have a problem with someone
like Bernie Sanders who wants to tax
my hard earned money even more
when I am barely making enough
money to put a bird on the table, then
take that money and give it to some
kid who won’t even show up for
class because he’s too busy picketing
the fact that he can’t make $15 an
hour flipping burgers. With politicians like these two…I’m angry.
That’s right, I’m as mad as I can
be…and then along comes Donald
Trump (please refer to the first sentence in this article). Donald Trump,
who begins echoing pretty much the
same sentiments that all conservative
Republicans have been broadcasting
for years. Secure the borders, protect the unborn, make America great
again. These are not new concepts.
These are things we want.
And now I see the trend. I read
things on social media like, “If you
are a Trump supporter you cannot be
a Christian,” and, “If you are voting
for Trump unfriend me.” Here is a
kicker, “#anybodybuttrump”.
If these people spent as much
time positively promoting the candidate they want to win versus bashing the supporters of someone they
don’t, their time would be better
spent and their choice of candidate
just might get the social media boost
they need.
I will add one more thing about
Mr. Trump and you can take it for
what it’s worth (again, please refer
to the first sentence in this article).
Several days ago I spoke to an evangelical minister and political activist
who just recently switched from supporting Ted Cruz to Donald Trump.
I asked him why and he began to tell
me about all the research he had done
and then he said this, “One thing
that all of the people who have done
business with Trump state is that he
keeps his word. When he says he’s
going to do something he does it.”
Those of you who are sitting
back at your keyboards and bashing
a lot of good people because they
support Cruz or Trump, It’s my sincere belief that you are not helping
a bit. You might be helping, but rest
assured it’s not the cause you think.
I’ve been praying for years that
God will help us to make America
great again. He can do it too. It
doesn’t matter who is in the White
House, only who is on The Throne.

How often have you heard, “Hollywood produces
nothing but junk for the family? Well it’s true!
Hollywood continues to produce “R” rated garbage
in spite of the fact that family friendly movies gross
the most money. “Hollywood’s agenda is so different from the people I know and hang with. The
Historic Sands Theatre in Alamogordo New Mexico
is just the place. It’s a refreshing walk back in time.

have finally reinstalled our newly rebuilt transmitter
for KVBA. It was out for repairs for about 4 months.

The Historic Sands Theatre and help out as Manager.
I was born and raised here so I remember coming to
the Theatre while I was in High School.
What about the Theatre drew me back? I love the
fact that it is a family friendly place and you can bring
you family here and not worry about the type of shows
that we show. We have a mix of Faith Based and New
Releases that are Family Friendly.
We could not do it without the support of all the
Volunteers that put in their time and energy to help us
succeed, and there are a lot of them behind the scenes
as well as up front when you come into the movies.
I have a lot to learn and will be striving to learn it
all. If you have any suggestions for us from the Movies
that you would like to see or things around the theatre
that you think will help please let us know.
The theatre is still a work in progress but it is coming along…. And don’t forget we also do fund raisers,
Birthday Parties, Group Movies, Special Events. If
you would like to hold a event here let us know and
we will do what we can to help you but please keep
in mind that it has to be family friendly.

Senior Eye Care
It is very important for seniors to get frequent
health check ups, which enable them to nip emerging
health problems in the bud, or control them before
they become critical. Senior eye care is an important
component of an older persons health plan...
The figures say that about 20 percent of Americans
over the age of 65 years have some kind of eye problem, which are usually likely to increase with age.
Problems relating to senior eye health and care range
from low vision to blindness causing eye disease.
Common eye care concerns for older people are cataracts, macular degeneration, glaucoma, and diabetic
retinopathy. Many of these conditions are debilitating, and emphasize the importance of preventive eye
care, which in turn plays a crucial role in correcting,
stalling, or preventing serious senior eye concerns
altogether.
The onset of most vision problems happen with telltale warning signs. If you are 60 years or older, and
experience such symptoms, you should immediately
visit your physician or optometrist. Some of them are:
• Increasing dryness or tearing
• A drooping eyelid
• A film over the colored portion of the eye or fading of the colored part of your eye.
• Diminished peripheral vision
• If one begins to see spots or shapes that float in
one’s field of vision
• Blurred or distorted vision
• If one fails to tear or has blocked eye ducts
• Reduced ability to discern colors, especially
shades of blue, beige and brown
• If one develops an eye infection, even a mild one,
or suffers swelling around the eyes
• If the eyes are troubled by light or glare, and
aren’t able to adjust to it
Now to address the problem of inconvenience.
Pick an optometrist who practices close to your home.
His/her office should be easily accessible, and convenient parking would be an added benefit. Ideally, the
office should be equipped with handicapped facilities
and equipment. The waiting areas should be comfortable and easy to navigate. Helpful and friendly staff
would definitely make you more willing to visit, as
would a simple registration and check-in process.
It is also very important to pick an optometrist who
is patient, kind, understanding, and a good listener.
Once you decide to visit an optometrist, there are
a few points you must keep in mind to get the best
treatment.
1. Form a plan with your eye care provider, that
schedule your appointments and medical eye
exams (those that include dilatation of your
pupils).
2. Every time you experience any problem, write
it down, so you will have a list of symptoms
ready when you visit your doctor, which
ensures that you don’t forget any, and your
doctor is able to correctly diagnose your
condition.
3. It is a good practice to ask your provider to
prescribe nutritional supplements that can
improve eye health. However, also clarify that
they won’t interfere with any other medication
you may be taking.
Senior eye care is very important in preventing and managing eye problems that develop with
age. According to the American Association of
Optometrists, if you are less than 70 years of age,
you should get your eyes checked at least every two
years, and annually thereafter. However, those who
suffer from diabetes or other eye illnesses, must have
frequent check ups.

MASTERLESS
Kane Madison is an architect working in Los Angeles
while his doppelganger-like spirit, an 18th century Ronin,

“Masterless” clearly shows the peril of having no
master. The enemy of our soul is our master if we do not follow the Good Shepherd. Kane Madison (Adam LaVorgna)
works hard and is a good husband, but doesn’t want to hear
about God from his wife, Emi (Okiko Saito). She keeps her
faith despite her physical illness and her husband’s lack of
faith. Kane tells her, “when we die, we die,” and she tells
him he is wrong, that people must fight and the “prize is
our soul.”

Elliot telling a campfire story about the legend of the
Wailing Wampus Werewolf that lives in Timberline
National Forest. Domesticated Boog is terrified by
the story and decides to “chicken out” of their annual
summer camping trip until he knows the werewolf is
gone. Determined to help Boog overcome his fears,
Elliot and their woodland friends band together to scare
the fear out of Boog and uncover the mystery of the
Wailing Wampus Werewolf.

Part IV
Meeting behind closed doors, the
mega-rich of the world discuss the latest
strategy on how to exploit technology
that holds the tantalizing promise of
extending human life far beyond threescore and ten.
They are also concerned about how
to lock-up the natural resources of earth
before the unwashed masses wastes
them in feeding useless eaters (you and
me). “Oil is peaking and global warming
is going to cook us all.” They believe
known assets are finite and at present
rates will be depleted and unavailable in
a few dozen years, thus 90% of people
must be eliminated to preserve the
earth’s riches for the rich.
Most of the super rich have sold
their souls to Lucifer having bought into
the lie that the Almighty can be defeated
and that His handbook for living we call
the Bible can be discarded. After all, His

These folks are those who are called
the “New World Order.” They want to
do away with national sovereignty and
after the coming holocaust, force what
is left of the human race into world
dictatorship. They want the survivors
as meek and compliant slaves for their
personal use.
God however has other plans. He
told Peter He was not willing that any
should perish (2 Pet 3:9) so we know He
will make every effort to give men as
much time and opportunity possible to
repent of sin and accept Him, even the
New World Order crowd if that’s possible. The Grand Plan of God cannot be
delayed nor derailed. Men can plot and
scheme but all will be in vain.
Before Jeremiah was born, God said
He knew him before he formed him in
the belly. He knew him, ordained him
and empowered him to accomplish
that which the Almighty desired. When
Jeremiah complained that he hadn’t the
ability to speak, God rebuked him and
said in effect, “Whosoever I send I will
go with him and give him the power to
speak in My Name (Jer 1:7-9).”
When Moses was tasked by God to
challenge Pharaoh, he too shirked from
the job and said he couldn’t do it. The
Almighty said he would go with him
also to see to it that IT WOULD BE
DONE (Ex 33:12-17).
The same goes for you and me. For
whatever job you are called, you will
be empowered from on high and given
the strength and ability to accomplish
that which is assigned. Are you called to
stand in the street and call out senators,
governors and presidents and rebuke
them publically? If you are God-called,
you will have the courage and the power
to do just that and NOTHING WILL
HARM YOU unless God wills it.
Have you ever wondered why some
sermons are Spirit-filled and some dry as
Arizona dust? It’s because when a Godcalled, God-empowered preacher stands
and delivers a message ordained by the
Creator, nothing can stand in the way of
its fulfillment. It doesn’t matter whether
the preacher has attended Seminary or is
a self-taught student who has spent most
of his life in sin. Whoever God calls, He
also gives him the ability to perform the
task set before him.
Unfortunately, too many preachers are self-called and are in the pulpit
in their own power and are delivering
messages they consider important and
helpful to their own ministry. Material
wealth or “success” is not a consideration of a true CALLED preacher, they
don’t know what “501-3-C” means. (To

CAMPAIGN FINANCE ??
Virtually all voters, from left and
right, believe campaign finance laws,
and the attempts to keep money from
buying the government we’ve all
learned to hate has been a total bust
and gets worse. We’ve learned that the
big donors to national headquarters of
political parties are more important than
legions of serious voters.
We’ve seen how a million people
can band into groups of dedicated and
knowledgeable voters that are active
and vocal but none have enough money
to offset the opinions and choices of
the donors to headquarters who will
influence and advertise the candidates
they want.
Everyone feels campaigns cost too
much and they are too much like our
IRS and income tax!
Our leaders have brought us to a
pivotal point in our nation. When our
nation’s future is so sharply at stake,
we should hope that one or some of our
planners would take a strong look at this
method that most voters abhor and dread
all election cycles for this reason.
Another reason voters are dissatisfied with our present system is that the
debate method of finding a candidate
to vote for is sadly disappointing. The
present method is so full of gotcha
questions used by both moderators and
candidates, that it resembles a demolition derby hoping to take opponents out.
We’ve found that much of the outcome depends on who the moderator is
and the political leaning of the television
station hosting the debate.
We have to wait and discover how
each legislator we elect will treat the
obstacles our nation faces because we
don’t know how they think about most
important issues. After the seemingly
endless debates and TV ads the questions we want answered aren’t even
asked.
A much better idea would be to take
the money out of politics altogether
and replace buying votes with a set of
questions for each candidate to answer.
They would be published for the public
to review and to compare candidate’s
views on a wide variety of subjects and
issues.
To assemble the candidate questions, there are large universities and
think tanks with every kind of expert
required to arrive at the number and
scope of questions to be presented.
Each could offer their number
and type of questions that would be
collected and compiled by a panel of
leaders from each party and historians.
They would attempt to hold the number
of questions small enough so voters
aren’t overwhelmed by a great number
of issues they’ve never considered or
been interested in and that have no place
in the discourse of our government or
its history.
The same minds that arrive at
the questions for the candidates for
president and vice-president should also
decide the amount of money allowed
for travel to various localities for purposes of debates and other necessary
functions.
They could even decide whether
the money given for their campaigns
would be dispensed or be handled by
a credit card given after qualifications
have been met to be a viable candidate.
The same question and answer method
may also be used to choose other federal
legislators if the public should approve
of the change.
The panels could choose questions
over a broad range of subjects that
range not only across the left to right
ideologies but specific issues like taxes,
budgets, foreign policy, government
involvement in business and liberty, etc.
Obviously the number of questions
could be larger than is practical to consider, but that number would have to
pass the approval of panels who would
winnow down the useless chaff to arrive
at the practical number acceptable to
legislators as well as voters.
The choice of questions for this
endeavor could be passed back and
forth between the political parties until
they come to an agreement or return
their disputed collection to the original
bodies that began the choosing in the
beginning.
This new questioning system should
be considered important enough that
time would be allotted to choosing the
final panel of questions presented to the
candidates, perhaps a year.
This method would help to correct
some of the bad electors we’ve had in
the past and it would make the candidates question their own history and
answers before they make their choices
known and shown to the public.
The winners of elections would
keep a copy of their answers to remind
them to stay on the course they chose to
win the office. Many voters will have
their own copies of the answers their
elected officials promised to honor, to
refer to and call the legislators to task.
It seems the polls have spoken loud
and clear that the congress is unpopular
enough to warrant real change in campaigns and the congress should search
for an improved method for campaigning and voting.
This is the best method I can imagine especially considering the reputation
that too much money has suffered in the
long history of our political history. Our
campaigns have proceeded the way we
see them going today, and many don’t
feel there’s a new or radically different
and more effective direction for the
system.
It reminds me of the first time a
taxpayer learns about using a national
consumption tax to fund our government. The income tax has been part of
everyone’s life so long they never stop
to consider that a completely different
method of collecting our taxes could be
superior in every way.
It just takes a germ of an idea to
make its way into the voter’s psyche
for a chance to compete in the arena of
ideas. I believe the public would vote
for such a change if a forward looking
legislator offered such legislation.

may significantly increase a person's level of hope.
The experience of humor can positively influence
a person's state of hopefulness, says Texas A&M psychologist David H. Rosen who, along with colleagues
Alexander P. Vilaythong, Randolph C. Arnau and
Nathan Mascaro, studied nearly 200 subjects ranging
in age from 18-42.
As part of the study, which appeared in the
International Journal of Humor Research, select participants viewed a 15-minute comedy video. Those
that viewed the video had statistically significant
increases in their scores for hopefulness after watching it as compared with those that did not view the
video, Rosen notes.
The finding, he says, is important because it
underscores how humor can be a legitimate strategy
for relieving stress and maintaining a general sense of
well-being while increasing a person's hope. Previous
studies have found that as high as 94 percent of people
deem lightheartedness as a necessary factor in dealing
with difficulties associated with stressful life events,
he says.
Rosen says humor may competitively inhibit
negative thoughts with positive ones, and in so doing,
foster hope in people. Positive emotions, such as
those arising from experiencing humor, can stimulate thought and prompt people to discard automatic
behavioral responses and pursue more creative paths
of thought and action, he explains.
Such a process, Rosen says, could lead to a person experiencing a greater sense of self-worth when
dealing with specific problems or stressful events. He
says these positive emotions could, in turn, lead to
an increase in a person's ability to develop a "plan of
attack" for a specific problem as well as increase a person's perceived ability to overcome obstacles in dealing with that problem - two aspects that psychologists

We Are All Conscious Of It!
Hypocrisy is something we are each
so conscious of that we immediately
recognize it in the words and actions of
those around us. It is glaringly apparent
in others; but, we often refuse to see it
in ourselves.
Hypocrisy is an unclean spirit; perhaps second to lying, the most damaging
to the church of the living God.
Have you ever stopped to consider
that manifesting this spirit might just
be a means of subconsciously justifying similar words or actions that we are
either harboring or guilty of?
Let’s look at what the Lord had to
say about hypocrisy.
Matthew 23 (KJV)

I cannot imagine any thinking
person who does not believe the
world is getting worse.
The number of slaughtered and
the number of refugees from slaughter is immense and growing.
Islamic State now controls territories from Afghanistan to West
Africa. Libya is in the process of
being added to that list. And other
sadistic Islamist movements hold
additional territory.
According to Pew Research,
approximately 10 percent of world
Muslims have a favorable opinion of the Islamic State and terror
against civilians. That’s more than
100 million people.
The Iranian regime has just
increased the reward it will give to
anyone who murders Indian novelist Salman Rushdie, is increasing
its repression at home, now has
more than a hundred billion additional dollars to spend on terror and
regularly calls for the annihilation
of Israel.
Iran just received from Russia
the most powerful anti-aircraft
weapons that exist outside the
United States, making a successful
air attack on Iran almost impossible.
Europe is allowing in another
million migrants from the Middle
East, few of whom share Europe’s
primary moral values. One consequence is that European women
are being sexually attacked in
increasing numbers. Another is
that European countries are making
criticism of Muslims or Islam — no
matter how rational the critique — a
crime punishable by jail time and/
or fines.
The only thing stopping regular mass murder of Europeans and
Americans is increased European
and American police work. And no
one believes that this will suffice to
prevent future attacks.
Russia is led by a KGB man who
seeks to replace American influence
with Russian influence wherever
possible. And he is allowed to do
so by the American president and
the Democratic Party.
While Russia continues to
attempt, in Charles Krauthammer’s
words, “to fracture and subordinate”
Ukraine, the United States under
Obama refuses to send Ukraine
weapons.
The United States is led by a
president whose primary foe seems
to be the prime minister of Israel,
even though the prime minister’s
country happens to be the freest,
most moral and most pro-American
country in the Middle East.
The commander of the U.S.
Pacific Command recently told
Congress “that China is clearly
militarizing the South China Sea,”
in order to gain “hegemony in East
Asia.”
Cuba now has American recognition, and as a direct result has
felt free to increase its subjugation
of the Cuban people. In January, the
Cuban regime arrested 1,414 political dissidents, the second-most ever
recorded. It will be rewarded by a
visit from President Obama.
In the United States, most universities are being taken over by
a fascistic expression of leftism.
Student thugs take over administration offices with impunity, shout
down speakers with whom they
differ, and many faculty members
support them. In the name of “diversity” and “tolerance,” American
universities, once a jewel of free
thought and intellectual inquiry,
have become places Americans
who cherish liberty and cherish
America increasingly fear to send
their children.
Contempt for America and its
founding ideals are indoctrinated
into America’s youth from high
school on. If shown any of the
iconic paintings of the Founders —
such as signing the Declaration of
Independence or deliberating at the
Constitutional Convention — rather
than seeing great people creating a
great nation, most young Americans
now only see racist, sexist, rich,
slave-owning white males.
As its universities make clear,
the West is committing suicide. At
UCLA one doesn’t have to read
a single play by Shakespeare in
order to receive a degree in English.
But one is fully indoctrinated
regarding “White Privilege,” “systemic racism,” “income inequality,”
“homophobia,” “hate speech,” “climate change” and whatever radicals
care about.

about the size of his penis. And the
audience cheers.
The American president, a black
man elected in the hope that he
would unify the races, has overseen
the greatest rift between the races
since the 1960s. His repeated references to “Ferguson,” reinforcing
the lie that a white policeman killed
an innocent black teenager for no
reason other than the young man’s
race, is only one such example. One
result is a rhetorical (and increasingly lethal) war on police that
has led many officers to minimize
proactively policing largely black
areas.
The Democratic presidential
race is between a socialist who has
contempt for capitalism, the only
economic system that has ever
lifted large swaths of humanity out
of poverty, and a woman who is so
corrupt that she should be serving
time in prison, not campaigning for
president.
Meanwhile, the Republican
race is led by a man who has mocks

the libel that George W. Bush
knew there were no WMD in Iraq;
who calls for the killing of terrorists’ families; and, who, as noted,
proudly talks to America about the

Many generations have believed
that the world was getting worse.

nation, under the influence of its
own elites, men and women of the
left, is itself in decay.
So, who can save the world
