W
e have come a long way, but much remains to be done in
Spain and beyond our borders. This is the decade of
internationalisation and the vision of the Young
Entrepreneurs has no spatial boundaries, and although not
unique, our organization has become an authentic and
relevant major player in the internationalization of Spanish
companies.
We are a group of restless, responsible, qualified, trained, daring, efficient and
technologically savvy entrepreneurs, whose vision begins in Spain, but doesn't there.
We are part of a complex international network of " Young Entrepreneurs Associations "
where we play a major and leading role, strengthening the position and perception of
Spanish businessman on world markets, generating high value returns, while taking
advantage of the network as a channel to provide a platform to jump start any young
Spanish entrepreneur seeking a viable route to internationalization .
Internationally, we are a fully integrated and active participant in FIJE, Federation of
National Associations of Young Entrepreneurs in Latin America, formed by all the Ajes of
all Latin American countries, consolidating our position during 2015 while holding the
vice-presidency. We are also members and actively participate in YESFOREUROPE
Confederation of National Associations of Young Entrepreneurs of Europe, where we also
further strengthened our position in 2015, holding the Vice-Presidency.
In addition, we are an active member in the G20 YEA (G20 Young Entrepreneurs'
Alliance), formed by the AJES of the 20 countries, including, USA, Canada, China, Australia,
Japan, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, South Korea, and India,
FIJE, YesForEurope, etc ...
We currently access these networks with the express aim of contacting and
interconnecting with markets and young entrepreneurs throughout the world with the
social and entrepreneurial imperative of taking using these links to promote our business
projects, thus fulfilling the leadership role that our society demands of us while also
becoming true promoters of an authentic CSR, creating jobs, nurturing and fulfilling
individual dreams and the dreams of our society at large.
In economic terms, 2015 was a year in which we finally left behind us the most severe
crisis in recent history. The government measures adopted designed to carry out major
structural reforms of Spanish companies and Spanish society are slowly beginning to bear
fruit. We are finally beginning to reverse the negative trend of our GDP, generating growth
and improving our image and confidence. However, we firmly believe the government
should continue to build on these reforms, as outlined by the CEAJE-CEOE paper "15
reforms to Consolidate The Recovery" which we presented to the election candidates.
In political terms, the stratified situation that has resulted from Elections 20-D is
concerning, but we are not overly alarmed, convinced as we are that Spanish politicians,
are on the whole responsible and are fully aware that it is not their place to prolong the
problems of Spain, but rather to hasten the solution. We want to hear less about
politicians and more about policies, and the creation of multilateral agreements which
respect the institutions and the vision of this country, together, as it was set up almost 40
years ago, working side by side to create a fertile environment for entrepreneurs and
businesses supporting stable growth with improved and increased employment.
From an internal perspective, we are a multi-sectoral and national employer, of, by and for
young Spanish entrepreneurs in every corner of Spain. 2015 has been a year of hard work
focused on reinforcing our image across all the platforms and institutions in which we are
present, regenerating and strengthening the tight bonds within our organisation in
everything that unites and gives us meaning, leaving behind negative people, projects
and issues which serve to weaken us, and instead focusing on the decent people and
leaders who come together, contribute, and work to get the best for the Young Spanish
Entrepreneurs. I am deeply pleased and proud of what we have achieved together so far,
and confident that all the positives of 2015 are the springboard for new and better
opportunities

November 12, 2015
CEAJE asked the Minister of Finance and Public Administration to push forward new fiscal
measures to support entrepreneurship and boost business activity.
Annual Report 2015
Juan Merino asked the Minister to deepen reforms to consolidate the economic recovery,
with particular emphasis on the introduction of new measures for young entrepreneurs
and self employed professionals, and to encourage unity and cooperation between small
businesses as well as creating and maintaining quality jobs. This was announced at the
opening ceremony of the General Assembly of the Confederation held in CEOE
headquarters, where we welcomed the tax reforms approved by the Ministry last January,
which reduced corporate tax to strengthen the competitiveness of Spanish companies,
and has lowered income tax and withholdings for the self-employed, to support them in
their professional and business activity in this new phase of recovery.

IX NATIONAL CONGRESS OF
YOUNG ENTREPRENEURS
24 to 25 April 2015
Tourism and Technology a future symbiosis
The National Congress of Young Entrepreneurs advocates technological tourism as a
vehicle for progress and economic recovery The XIX National Congress of Young
Entrepreneurs held in Tenerife, welcomed leading experts in the tourism sector and new
technologies, who all highlighted the immense transformation that the sector has
undergone adapting to the range of new technologies now on offer in the tourism sector.
Young business people are increasingly more committed to innovation and new
management models aimed at improving the business environment.
CEAJE President, Juan Merino, stressed the need to improve the Law on Entrepreneurs
and the Law of the mechanism of a second chance.
He also stressed the importance of facilitating the unbanking of the process of creation
and the development of businesses as a measure to increase the supply and demand for
new business ventures. Merino has called for reducing tax pressure on SMEs in Spain,
which is 7% higher than the European average, making it difficult to compete in
international markets. For his part, the President of CCAJE, Jorge Ojeda, stressed the
importance of tourism suited to new technologies, and thanked all the sponsors for their
confidence and the attendees for their participation in the Congress.
The Congress was sponsored by Banco Santander and Software S del Sol, in addition to the collaboration of the
Canary Islands Government, Tenerife Cabildo, Santa Cruz de Tenerife Town Hall and the Canarian Agency for

YBERSECURITY DAY
NOVEMBER 2015
Cybersecurity Day organized by the leading company in secure communications,
PROCEUS had the honor of the presence of His Excellency. Mr. Rafael Catalá Polo (Minister
of Justice), who conducted the opening Day. The other speakers, cybersecurity and
communications specialists who wanted to contribute and collaborate with their
knowledge, were: Juan Junquera Temprano (Ex - Secretary of Telecommunications),
Marcos Gómez Hidalgo (COO of Incibe) Francisco Alonso Batuecas (Chief Security Unit,
Systems and Communications), Raul Aledo Coy (CEO of Air Networks), Javier Candau
(Chief of Cyber Security at National Cryptologic Center) and Enrique Belda Esplugues
(Vice Director for Security Information and Communications Systems in the Ministry of
Home Affairs ).
PROCEUS organized this conference in acknowledgement of the growing importance of
cybersecurity in social and economic spheres. We wanted to have specialists in the sector
who shared their work and experiences to raise awareness of the necessities that are
demanded by the business world to counter their day to day business threats. Some of
the topical issues and relevance in the area of cybersecurity that were dealt with in the
conference, were: Current Map of Cyber Threats, Security as a key in the business
strategies of companies, Cybersecurity as a national priority, among others. PROCEUS, of
the group CYRCA, is currently the safest brand on the telecommunications market
nationwide. Their SIM card guarantees that all issued calls are encrypted. PROCEUS arose
from the current demand for a niche market in reference to what the word "security"
means, from encryption calls to other advanced solutions such as email, browsing, secure
applications, aimed at corporations and professionals that require such solutions for their
daily communications.
The symposium was attended by
businessmen and specialists in secure
communications.

EETING WITH THE
MAYOR OF MADRID
MANUELA CARMENA
The president of the Spanish Confederation of Young Entrepreneurs, Juan Merino,
accompanied by the General Secretary, Fermín Albaladejo, met with the Mayor of Madrid,
Manuela Carmena, to present the main proposals, needs and concerns of young
entrepreneurs.
Juan Merino stressed the importance of supporting young entrepreneurs as a measure of
boosting recovery and driving economic development by facilitating self-employment
and reducing the barriers and bureaucratic obstacles that still hinder business.
Young entrepreneurs set out the urgency of reducing the cost of property tax, as well as
enabling access to disused premises by means of a social rent initiative to provide
stimulus to entrepreneurial activity. They passed on their proposals that the support
entrepreneurship be included in the Employment Plan of the City of Madrid.
In reference to the challenge of obtaining credit and channeling resources into
entrepreneurial activity through private investors, the CEAJE President said it was
necessary to encourage models that simplify and streamline the figure of the Business
Angel rather than penalizing them for their newly created ventures.

RISTOBAL MONTORO
MEETING
SEPTEMBER 23, 2015
Young entrepreneurs petitioned Cristobal Montoro to deepen
measures that consolidate the improvement of the economy and to
facilitate the work of independent professionals and small
businesses.
CEAJE welcomed the reforms that have been carried out in recent years by the Ministry of
Finance and Administration recognizing that without such measures the economic
recovery, in terms of growth and job creation current being experienced by Spain, would
not have been possible.
Annual Report 2015
CEAJE, represented by the President, Juan Merino, and the General Secretary, Fermín
Albaladejo, met with the Finance Minister Cristobal Montoro to analyze the Spanish
economic legislature situation and the effects of the business reforms undertaken by the
Government in the last four years.
Among these initiatives is the reduction of income tax facilitating the competitiveness of
Spanish companies, along with the lowering of income tax and deductions for
self-employed, to stimulate professional and business activity in this new phase of
recovery. In addition, the reform introduced tax incentives for capitalization especially
attractive to SMEs. In this regard, the CEAJE President asked the minister to deepen
reforms to consolidate economic recovery, with particular emphasis on the introduction
of new measures aimed at young entrepreneurs and freelancers, and to further
encourage links and cooperation between small businesses as much as the creation and
maintenance of quality employment.

accompanied by the General Secretary, Fermín Albaladejo, met with The New Generations
President, Beatriz Jurado, People's Party to present the main proposals, needs and
concerns of young entrepreneurs.
During the meeting, Juan Merino insisted that the approved second chance law as it
stands, although welcome, still falls some way short of challenging the stigmatization of
business failure by converting it into an opportunity for growth. From the Business
Promotion Committee led by CEAJE in CEOE referenced a number of amendments in the
second chance law that have not yet been taken into account, such as the deregistration
of Bankruptcy public data after the specified five year time period
Meanwhile, Beatriz Jurado, stressed the importance that SMEs have on Spanish domestic
output stating that "entrepreneurship is a career opportunity that more and more young
people are choosing every day "

BURGOS
Burgos Young Entrepreneur Award Gala 2015. Burgos AJE began in 1996 for young
entrepreneurs with a history of more than three years. The event is now held every year
and remains a reference in the Burgos community calling for a broad representation of
institutions and companies in the province’s capital.
.
AJE Burgos still has as one of its main objectives the promotion of self-employment
and entrepreneurial culture among young people. To do this, every year it gives
educational talks in schools primarily aimed towards students at the end of their training
cycles. The goal is to demonstrate self-employment as another way into the labor market.
This is achieved by sharing experiences in person, from their beginnings and their
setbacks... and encouraging them to follow suit.
