Featuring the Class of 2013, our special rescues since last year’s event. Join us for a
day of fun to meet the latest rescue dogs and their families. See lots of items and get
great bargains at our Scottie/Westie store. Participate in the Silent Auction. Have a
mouth-watering picnic lunch catered by Red’s Cafe of Montrose. Learn more about
Terriers with the following demonstrations: Agility and Earthdog. See the wonderful
items for sale from Crossroads Animal Shelter. Have a family photo taken by Eva
North Photography, listen to music provided by “Bundle & Go” and the best part…

We will provide a picnic lunch of pulled pork and turkey sandwiches, potato
salad, veggie pasta salad, cole slaw, chips, Elaine’s famous beans and dessert. We
will also have water and treats for the furkids. Expect lots of Terrier networking!
Things to Know the Day of the Picnic:
For your comfort and that of your dog[s], please bring an exercise pen if you
have one. If not, please keep your dog[s] on a leash at all times [No retractable
leashes]. Folding chairs available, but you may find your own lawn chair more
comfortable. Water will be provided.
Our Scottie & Westie Store was a big success last year! Find items for you and
your terriers and purchase them on the spot! This year, we have a lot of great
items – all between $1 and $10.
If you have items to donate the Store or Silent Auction, please bring them the
day of the picnic if you’re arriving early. Or contact John or Steph Wisecarver

them ahead of time.

Again this year our Auction, Scottie & Westie Store, Lunch and Program will
take place in the Entertainment Building [the largest building on the Carver
County Fairgrounds].

Eva Noth Photography – Mini Sessions
Eva Noth Photography is proud to offer mini photo-sessions for dogs and their owners
during the picnic to raise donations for Lacy’s Legacy! 50% of all proceeds goes to
Lacy’s Legacy Rescue.
Each session includes: 10 minute private session time with Eva Noth, three professionally
finished low-resolution digital images in an online viewing gallery [for easy viewing
and downloading, perfect for online sharing], and one 5x7 high quality archival print
of your favorite photo mailed directly to your home.

Raffle Information:
How Can I Help?
Raffle items are $5 per ticket or 6 for $25. You can mix and match any
combo for six tickets – be sure to specify how many of each item. Tickets will
be drawn at the picnic on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at 2:00 pm. Winner
need not be present to win, but will be responsible for shipping if not
in attendance.
CAST BRONZE SCOTTIE SCULPTURE – This lovely
figurine is solid bronze cast from the original molds
done by artist Wendell Wilson.
This figurine was graciously donated by Pat Gordy & Tom Steyer
[our NE friends].
SCOTTIE WEATHERVANE – This beautiful piece will
look great in anyone’s yard – especially those of us
who love Scotties!
The weather vane was graciously donated by Rosanne Kubicek
and Gracie Girl, one of our rescues.
WESTIE UMBRELLA – Stay dry with this vintagestyle umbrella designed with a Westie print. Treated
with Teflon to keep water off and away. This umbrella
protects AND makes a fashion statement.

To help us plan for a great picnic, please register by September 20th as
this is VERY IMPORTANT for the caterer.
Save time by pre-registering [no waiting in line at the picnic or trying to
write while holding onto an anxious terrier]. We will have your name tags
pre-made and available at our registration table. Registration can also be done at
the picnic.
PLEASE NOTE: There will be over a hundred dogs in attendance. For liability
purposes NO FLEXI OR RETRACTABLE LEASHES ALLOWED. Maximum leash
length is 6’. All dogs must be leashed or contained in a crate or x-pen.
