Jeff Chelpi a intégré notre société durant 2 années en tant que Responsable commercial.
Jeff a fait preuve de beaucoup de professionnalisme, de rigueur et de sérieux, ce qui nous a
permis de lui confier des responsabilités dans le cadre de l’organisation de nos évènements
sportifs internationaux.
Le travail de Jeff au sein de notre équipe, a révélé ses réelles capacités à s’adapter à
s’adapter à toutes situations dans des contextes parfois difficiles (intensité, gestion du stress,
relation client, gestion des priorités).

Re: Mr Jeff Chelpi
Dear Sir/Madam,
I write this letter of reference in support of my colleague in Pacific sports, Mr Jeff Chelpi. As
Executive Director of the Pacific Games Council, I have worked with Mr Chelpi very closely for
the past year during preparations for the 2013 Pacific Mini Games in Wallis and Futuna, where he
is the Director for Sport in the local Organizing Committee.
His job is a major undertaking, having responsibility for delivering eight sports to a high standard
by working with many international sporting bodies. He is also responsible for purchasing all of
the sporting equipment worth hundreds of thousands of Euros. He manages this complex position
extremely professionally, and always demonstrates a calm and friendly manner. He is completely
bilingual in English and French. Mr Chelpi is a hard-working and very capable manager, and he
is highly respected by all of the sports federations with whom he works. The standard of
performance of the Organizing Committee improved immeasurably following his arrival.
Mr Chelpi can be counted on to make an excellent contribution to whatever organisation he joins
in the future, and I have no hesitation in strongly recommending him for future employment. I
would be happy to discuss this letter of reference in more detail at any time.

Earlier this month, I had the pleasure of attending the IX Pacific Mini Games in my capacity as the
International Sailing Federation Technical Delegate. During the course of these Games, I had the
pleasure of meeting and working with Mr Jeff Chepl who was the Sports Director for the Mini
Games.
During the course of the Games, I had the opportunity to observe how Jeff conducted himself and
handled the position of Sports Director. Jeff handled all the situations given to him calmly and
with expert knowledge.
Wallis and Futuna which was the host of the Pacific Mini Games, is a small Pacific Island with very
limited resources. Again Jeff showed his skills by adapting to the situation and worked with what
was available to ensure that all the athletes had the opportunity of having the best and fairest
competition possible.
I highly recommend Jeff as a sport administrator and organizer.

This communication is for the purpose of reference for Mr. Jeff CHELPI.
Jeff who was the Chargé de Mission Sport - Sports Director, Comité Organisateur des Mini-Jeux
du Pacifique Wallis et Futuna 2013 worked with me in organizing the Rugby 7s competition
together with the Wallis and Futuna Rugby Federation officials.
During the course of these organizations, I have truly found Jeff to show exemplary
communication and management skills. He was always on time in correspondence and in a few
sensitive and mandatory situations, Jeff was able to accommodate and effect decisions that
eventually became critical decision during the tournament.
Rugby Union officials in Wallis that helped organize the tournament with Jeff as usual were not
too easy to work with. Jeff took their critique and attitude in stride and eventually worked with
them and IRB to delivering a world class rugby tournament.
As an even organizer, I find Jeff to be accommodating, honest, hard work and innovative. Traits
that I believe are critical in organizing such mega sporting events. I do believe Jeff is capable of
running similar and bigger events in the future.
I represented the International Rugby Board as its Technical Delegate during the game and my
work was made easy by Jeff’s prior and during tournament organization.
I have no reservation in supplying this reference for Jeff and I wish him in his future endeavors.
