Keywords: Code Mixing, Form, Function, and Headline of Jawa Pos
In social bilingualism most of the people use two language or more. We
know the condition called code mixing but sometimes we do not realize that we
used and find code mixing in our daily activities. Code mixing is an interesting
subject to discuss. Code mixing can we find in the radio broadcast, music
program, song lyric, and news or advertisement in the newspaper or magazine.
In this research the writer determines the problem of the study as follow
(1) What are found forms of Code Mixing are Found on The Headline of Jawa
Pos Publish in the First Week of June Edition 2012 (2) What are found functions
of Code Mixing are Found on The Headline of Jawa Pos Publish in the First Week
of June Edition 2012This analysis use descriptive qualitative method. The writer
uses descriptive qualitative method because it describes the forms of code mixing
and the functions of code mixing found on the Headline of Jawa Pos in the First
Week of June Edition 2012. The writer chooses this newspaper because
newspaper now becomes a daily need. The data is code mixing. The data was
taken from Headline of Jawa Pos in the First Week of June Edition 2012.
After analyzing data, the writer found 52 of the forms of code mixing, they
are: 22 of word, 21 of phrase of and 2 of hybrid, 1 of word reduplication, 5 of clause,
and 1 of idiom in form of code mixing. For the functions of code mixing the writer
found 52 of the functions of code mixing, they are: 29 of informational function, 17
of expressive function and 6 of directive function.
The writer hopes that the reader can use this skripsi as a reference and
information to add their knowledge about code mixing. And the lecturer can use
newspapers as media to teach about code mixing.

Jawa Pos.
Di dalam masyarakat bilingual sebagian orang menggunakan dua bahasa
atau lebih. Kita mengetahui kondisi ini di sebut campur kode, tetapi kadang –
kadang kita tidak menyadari bahwa kita menggunakan dan menemukan campur
kode dalam kegiatan sehari –hari kita. Campur kode adalah salah satu subyek
yang menarik untuk di diskusikan. Kita dapat menemukannya disiaran radio,
acara musik, lirik lagu, dan berita di koran atau majalah.
Penulis menemukan beberapa permasalahan dalam analisis sebagai
berikut: (1) bagaimana bentuk- bentuk campur kode yang ditemukan di Berita
Utama Jawa Pos Terbitan pada Minggu Pertama Edisi Juni 2012. (2) Bagaimana
fungsi- fungsi campur kode yang ditemukan di berita utama Jawa Pos Terbitan
pada Minggu Pertama Edisi Juni 2012.
Analisis ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Penulis
menggunakan metode deskriptif karena untuk menggambarkan bentuk- bentuk
dan fungsi dari campur kode yang ditemukan di berita utama Jawa Pos di minggu
pertama Edisi Juni 2012. Penulis memilih koran ini karena sekarang koran
menjadi kebutuhan sehari- hari. Data diambil dari berita utama Jawa Pos Terbitan
pada Minggu Pertama Edisi Juni 2012.
Setelah mengganalisis data ini, penulis memperoleh 52 bentuk campur
kode, diantanya: 22 word, 21 phrase, 2 hybrid, 1 word reduplication, 5 clause, dan
1 idiom. Dari fungsi campur kode penulis menemukan 52 fungsi diantaranya: 29
informational function, 17 expressive function, dan 6 directive function.
Penulis berharap pembaca dapat menggunakan skripsi ini sebagai referensi
dan informasi untuk menambah pengetahuan mereka tentang campur kode. Dan
untuk para dosen bisa menggunakan koran untuk mengajar tentang campur kode.
