Commitment to our Environment
We take pride in creating products that protect some of the
most valuable assets in the world, yet leave a minimal carbon
footprint during manufacturing, transportation and installation.
Be an informed
consumer.
As the inventor of vinyl sheet pile, Crane Materials International
believes in doing things right the first time. And we know from
experience that when you’re building a seawall, finding the right
contractor is just as important as selecting the right materials.
Things you want to know about your installation and
materials:
How will my property/yard be affected during/
after installation?
Will my wall be installed from land or water?
How tall will the wall be from the firm mud line
and how much sheet will be embedded?
Is a return or wing wall in the design and quote?
What type of backfill will be used?
What sheet piling materials/brand does the
contractor install?
How many years has the manufacturer been
making sheet piling?
Is the sheet piling product suitable for seawalls
and has it been tested by the US Army Corps of
Engineers?
Things you want to know about your contractor:
How long has the contractor been in business
and how long have they been installing seawalls
in the area? Can they provide references?
Who will obtain state, local and/or county
permits?
When can the contractor start my job? When
will it be finished?
Does the contractor have insurance?
